I happen to like these sandwiches. Anytime I drive through Iowa I try and stop at a Maid-Rite. This location had a particularly unique, clean, and fun atmosphere. I ate in.Food was tasty, staff were friendly and they checked on me to be sure I was satisfied. Bathroom was clean. Was a great experience.

Great food and awesome staff but their prices are steep for what you get.

Went there for supper and ordered a maid rite, chili dog, French fries and coleslaw. The chili dog was a big mess. Didn't have a container big enough to put it in. Maid rite probably only had one scoop of hamburger. Won't be going back.

The cheese rites are very good, but the corn dog was not crispy. It still tasted pretty good, it just seemed like it might have sat around for a bit. They might have been short staffed like most places these days. The onion rings were excellent. The staff that were there were all really nice and cheerful though. If I could have a wish for this place, I would wish it had real draft root beer like the one in Muscatine has. That would put it over the top. With the price of fast food becoming increasingly ridiculous, it's a much better idea to go to Maid Rite and get something that tastes better.

Stopped by here on the way to Cedar Rapids. Hadn't been to a Maid Rite in over a decade as most of them have closed near the twin cities. We stopped by for a late lunch and there weren't a lot of people. Easy parking and not too far off the highway. Very friendly staff and courteous. Clean establishment with a little of that diner charm. We ordered a few things, maid rite (of course), kids rite, fries, nuggets. Prices were in line with fast food chains (everything has gone up in price). The food was as I remember it. The fries were crisp and hot. The sandwich was just like I remember. Brought back memories. Might have been a little drier than what I remember but it's been a long time. I would skip the cheese curds. Definitely worth the nostalgia and decent food at a reasonable price. I always look out for one on our road trips and it doesn't disappoint.

i ordered the corn dog and it turns out there was a human finger under the batter instead of a hot dog, it took me a couple bites to find out

I was shocked at their menu. I thought they only had maid rites. Clean and friendly staff. Definitely will come back!
