The cheese rites are very good, but the corn dog was not crispy. It still tasted pretty good, it just seemed like it might have sat around for a bit. They might have been short staffed like most places these days. The onion rings were excellent.The staff that were there were all really nice and cheerful though.If I could have a wish for this place, I would wish it had real draft root beer like the one in Muscatine has. My wife and I were given some gift certificates and went to try MaidRite having just moved to the area - absolutely blown away by the selection, cute atmosphere and food quality, will be back often! Try the BBQ and milkshakes ?

I happen to like these sandwiches. Anytime I drive through Iowa I try and stop at a Maid-Rite. This location had a particularly unique, clean, and fun atmosphere. I ate in.Food was tasty, staff were friendly and they checked on me to be sure I was satisfied. Bathroom was clean. Was a great experience.
