Owner made a post that is incredibly unprofessional and disrespected the community they’re in. If you care about your community this is not the place to eat. Also if you check the comments arguing with individuals is childish and I expect more from a restaurant that has been around for 30 years.

If you leave hungry, it's your own fault! Always good portion size and they don't skimp on the toppings! I love that it's not spicy and loaded with cheese! Just look at that pull!

This place was really hyped up to me by a number of people. I wish it could have lived up to 1/10 of that. Online. They said they were open till 9 we got there around 8 they had already closed down. We came from Cedar Falls for this. I heard it's pretty cool but I don't think I'd ever go back. We dealt with different people that worked there and owned the place and was just a very toxic combative environment and makes me not want to go to Waterloo ever again. I don't mind Cedar Falls. It's a really nice area there but this is the first time I'd been in the Waterloo side of things in probably 15 years. They had me & probably a dozen other vehicles out in the parking lot that came here to do business with these guys and everybody just left. Hours of operation are just a suggestion for this place. They're tied into some chain of Rudy's tacos but they're not really. Not sure exactly how it operates or what they really do but was just kind of surprised you close early on a weekend when people would have dinner somewhere and then go here for ice cream etc.

I have eaten here at lunch and for dinner. Sometimes I come in and it's not too busy, but usually it is. I appreciate the takeout option. I have no complaints on the food items I have tried-they all have been good.
Vegetarian options: I can't confirm their dishes are vegan, but they do have vegetarian versions of their dishes available e.g. bean burritos.
Parking: It is located on the Corner of Falls and Ansborough avenues in the Falls Mall building. There is plenty of parking.
Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu, but not so much games/entertainment.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wide hallway. Restaurant itself could be a little tricky to navigate if busy.

First time I went i was satisfied with service and food. The second, and probably last, time not so much. I live maybe 3 minutes away. First time I place a to go order they said 15 minutes. I waited 10 , when I got there food was waiting and they were kind of busy, I was impressed. The second time I place a to go order they said 15 minutes. Again I waited 10 minutes before leaving. When I got their the host said the cook was finishing up my order. Place was empty no one seated or waiting. A couple walked in placed their order, mind you I'm still waiting for my order. I waited another 10 minutes they got their order and mine STILL WASN'T done. After waiting and additional 15 minutes I finally got my food. When I got home all the food was cold, again , I live 3 minutes away. They claim to be authentic Mexican food. Never knew any Mexican food cooked in a microwave. I was 100% not happy the second time, besides the cold food they are WAY over priced. $51 to feed 2 people is outrages and the food isnt worth $51. I will never step foot in that place again nor will I ever recommend it to anyone. Taco Johnson is much better food and much more affordable. I would rate that place a 0 but it isn't an option.

I actually went to Rudy’s Tacos two days in a row. The first day we sat outside and had drinks (good Margaritas), chips and fresh salsa, guacamole and some queso. Everyone loved their food: I like the Sancho.
The next day a group of family sat inside. Good selection of local beers. Everyone enjoyed their meals: burrito, sancho, taco salad, chimichangas. All food was hot, fresh and delicious.

Very expensive,...the man at the counter that i assume was the owner.. was childish and rude and sighed the whole time i was trying to choose, i finally just picked something as he tapped loudly on the counter, I could not get a straw...asked if I could buy one as I didn't understand. How cheap can u get? 2 meals, 2 drinks and a hot dog was over 40 bucks. Was one restaurant that I looked forward to going when I come back home. Not now,!! Gaurantee I and my family will never ever go again and I will let everyone I know what they have become there.
