Santos was great!!! Awesome service and the food is delicious.
We came to CF/Waterloo for a little staycation away from DSM Metro. While looking for good Mexican food we came across rave reviews for The King. Imagine our surprise to see a familiar face when we walked in the door - Santos worked at one of our local faves for many years and we didn't realize he'd moved on. We don’t have enough good things to say about The King! We travelled to Waterloo to visit Lost Island. We came across this restaurant on Google Maps and noticed how well reviewed it was. The King deserves every 5 star review they’ve received! The service was fantastic. Our waiter was attentive and extremely friendly. The drinks are extremely well priced for the sizes. The food is unbelievable, from the portion sizes to the incredible level of seasoning.
