230 pm ordered chicken enchiladas and chicken burritos spent about 40.00 . Normally rudys hits it out of the park on great food but not today 8.15.23. Burritos and enchiladas were 1/4 inch thick hardly no chicken 5 cubes of small tomatoes on top. I called spoke to owner . His response was and stated, " well I don't no what to tell yoz mam. I didn't make them." Rudy's use to be my favorite place but not going back . Rudys fitting name.

Great bar with a laid back atmosphere and attentive servers. The MCM decor adds a lot to the charm of this place, as well as the free jukebox filled with classic music.

The Lava Lounge used to be my main hangout a LONG time ago. Such a great 70's atmosphere, a free jukebox, and some of the best bartenders you'll find anywhere.

First off, this Rudy's is very different than the dozen or so other Rudys' in the franchise, which are more like upscale Taco Bells. The menu at the Waterloo location is *completely* different. The food is of much higher quality. Secondly, this is not "authentic" Mexican food. There's plenty of good options for that in Cedar Valley. This is Americanized Tex-Mex done to perfection. They've used high quality, locally sourced ingredients for *decades* before such practice was commonplace. The decor is fantastic, though probably not to everyone's taste: there's a bunch of marionettes hanging from the ceiling, old albums adorn the walls, along with a wide array of kitsch from the 60's-70's. You can't beat the price and speed of service, and the beer selection is world-class.

Not to bad of a little place the Father-in-law like eating here, so he took us out as an excuse to do lunch. I tried the Taco salad, it was fairly good and excellent serving size. The food was good, portion sizes were large, everything seem to have a good flavor, might of kicked up the heat a little, but then they have to make it so everyone will eat it. I enjoyed my meal and would go back to eat again. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was very clean and the prices very reasonable, definitely worth checking out
