Many, many years ago I used to sit and drink coffee on the table outside this cafe, watching the old Fords drive down US Highway 30. The fact that this building still stands warms my old heart. Between here and the old King's Tower (Built in Tama around the same town.) Some of the old Iowa remains.
After two years, now reopened on Tuesday and it was so delightful to stop by and enjoy lunch. The grilled tenderloin and fresh made raspberry pie were delicious. They feature Millstream soft drinks. My appreciation for all the volunteers!
