“They catered lunch for a sales meeting I hosted in West Des Moines. We selected Brisket, Pulled Pork, Mac n Cheese and Kue salad. Food was excellent! It was hot and delicious. On site set was great and helpful to walk into a lunch ready to go. I'm looking forward to eating in sometime, but I HIGHLY recommend them for catering needs.“

“New to the East side, and still are working on getting correct orders because of that, but we were glad there were a couple of order mistakes because we got to try things we might not have otherwise! The brisket sandwiches are amazing as is the smoked Turkey! Piled high with just the right amount of smoke and the sauce was perfect! I’m glad I got the smoked Turkey as it was tender and juicy,. I am allergic to onions so I usually can’t eat potato salad at restaurants, but their has no onions and was wonderful! And the fried Okra was so good! It was getting busy, so the owners little girl brought us menus and we were got to talk to her… such a nice family and such a great addition to the East side! We will definitely be back“

“Service and atmosphere was great. Great bar with an excellent selection of local craft brews on tap. Barbecue was OK. I’m from South Louisiana, and just really had to try the jambalaya out of a sense of curiosity. Nobody would eat this. If they want an authentic recipe, hit me up.“
