Pancheros Mexican Grill - Waukee

Burrito poorly built (she slopped it together rudely, loosely, and slopily) both times ive been to this location. Steak was cold and chewy, sauce was cold, didn’t ask for here or to go, didn’t smile, didn’t care, and the fountain drinks not properly working/ several empty. Probably why this location is empty at lunch hour mostly.

Awful, ordered ahead, arrived on time and they hadn’t even started. Watched them serve about 6 people and not even work on mine as I sat and waited another 25 minutes

placed an order and I was sitting in there for 30 minutes. There was nobody in there when I ordered 15 minutes previous the cashier was high out of her mind acting dumb wouldn’t help us and then mixed up all the online orders. We also got free chips and guac because she didn’t care and we’re hoping we got the right burrito.

Fantastic food, everything was fresh and delicious, will be coming back here again

The new GM Allie is terrible her customer service is questionable, and really shows why this branch shouldn't be open if they are unable to find proper management.

Horrible customer service. The smallest portions I've even seen. And way over priced!!

It is hard to see in the photos, but the ceiling and the air vent are clearly water damaged and moldy. Worse is that I watched the condensation collecting on the vent drip onto the food below🤮

Really overall everything was fine. The only comment that might be not 100 percent is our son asked for pork. The girl said we don't have pork. She read off all the different kinds of meats/ tofu they have. One being carnitas. 🤔 He had carnitas.

The last 10 times I have walked into this l location specifically they are ALWAYS out of something, and I'm not talking about something minor. It's always rice, beans, chicken, or queso. Every time I just turn around and go to Chipotle or Bbops. We have started going to the Grimes location if we want Pancheros. My brother who also lives in Waukee refuses to go to this location as well and goes to the one in West Des Moines because it is never stocked and so incredibly poorly managed. I don't even think it's the workers but more so the management. This place needs shut down.

I've noticed a trend where the good locations ask if you're dining in and will give you a tray. Locations like this one just put it all in to a bag no matter what. Burrito was soaking wet and also sticking to the foil. Immediately turned into a mess when I tried to open. Just had the bag no tray and plate. Also had to grab my own cups cause cashier didn't hand me the cups for the soda we paid for. Second worse experience at a poncheros. Worse was the one on Ingersoll. Best is probably ankeny or jordan creek locations

This location sucks. I ordered 3 burritos delivery. 1 bowl, 2 burritos. 1 with steak, other 2 with tofu. All 3 came with tofu. Wanted queso on all of them, and not a single one had queso. One was supposed to have cheese and queso and had neither. Every time I go into this place it seems dirty and the staff are not very personable. Do yourself a favor and go to any other location instead. There are a ton of them around here. This one is a waste of retail space!

Awesome

I would never come back at this location, cheap on meat and cheap on everything. You pay 13 dollars for a burrito to have less than 2 scoops of meat...staff looks unhappy!
