“Prairie Links Golf Club in Waverly is a fantastic course and a really fun overall experience.

The course has a country club feel from the moment you arrive, with a clean clubhouse, great facilities, and a layout that feels polished and well cared for. The conditions were excellent during our visit, especially for this point in the season. The fairways were green, the greens rolled well, and the entire property looked like it was in great shape.

The course itself is a fun mix of playable and challenging. Some holes are wide open and give you plenty of room to work with, while others tighten up and wind through the surrounding neighborhoods, making you think a little more off the tee. The fairway and greenside bunkers add a nice challenge, and the elevation changes keep the round interesting.

One of the more unique touches is the shared green with the giant rock in the middle — definitely not something you see every day, and it adds a fun, memorable element to the course.

Overall, Prairie Links is absolutely worth the stop if you’re in or around Waverly. Great conditions, fun layout, strong facilities, and a course that feels like one you’ll want to come back and play again.“

“I’ve never had a bad experience when at the Beach House. I have definitely seen bar patrons get feisty with the bartenders and they act appropriately. This is one of my favorite bars in town!!“
