Owner spends his free time touching himself to news stories of LGBT folk being attacked
My Daughter and I went in for the first time today around noon (on a Saturday) the atmosphere was busy but cheerful. We had a wonderful server, amazing service and the food was amazing! We ordered the Churro waffles and braised bacon. Soooooo good!!!!! Thank you for a wonderful experience! I would add a picture but unfortunately Facebook isn’t being cooperative 😄
Fun place. Delicious food. Friendly service. Adrianne was awesome! My daughter loved the French toast. My breakfast sandwich was outstanding. We will be back!

Early Bird West Des Moines is a beautiful, vibrant, and absolutely adorable restaurant with bright, lively décor that sets a cheerful tone. The restaurant is clean, and the restrooms are clean. The menu is insane and strikes a great balance between classic breakfast staples and creative dishes. The food is amazing and truly lives up to the buzz. Specific meals mentioned include the cinnamon roll pancakes, which were hands down the best, the Fit-Nest Breakfast with egg whites, fresh fruit, turkey bacon, and avocado, the Churro Waffle with turkey sausage, and The Early Bird. Drinks are awesome, and the drink menu is excellent, especially for mimosas. The service is great, with a sweet, knowledgeable, and attentive server who kept guests satisfied. Adrianne Y is a friendly and knowledgeable hostess and a great Mixologist who took great care of a family. Liv and Rachel also provided excellent care. A bartender is very clean and great at their job. This fun, welcoming gem is a popular spot.
