Very well-prepared food, many choices not available elsewhere in metro Des Moines. Last dine-in visit: had our credit card charged twice. We didn't notice this until the monthly card statement arrived. This was resolved after a few phone calls to restaurant and credit card company. Next visit was take out: again, very good food, but one salad was not included, and of course not noted until we were home. TL:DR: very good food, restaurant could use some work on quality...
12/19/24 I ordered delivery. I had the creamy Steak de Burgo medium rare, but came medium instead. Salad was great. I had a half order of onion rings, not good, no onion flavor. I think it's the quality of the onions they use. Same problem at other places too.
12/7/24 I ordered delivery. My order was 5he same as before.
4 stars, because I only got 4 slices of mushrooms and they didn't provide any silverware and napkins.

Really wanted to like this place based on great reviews. Went for dinner for the first time tonight. Started with mules - they were good. Server was very busy but was pretty attentive. We sat in the bar area due to crowds and it was freezing - fireplace is just a visual. Ordered 2 spaghetti w/meatballs entrees. Came with a very small ordinary salad. We asked if we should order garlic knots because they looked SO good in pictures, the waitress said no because we would get some...
