“Stopped in tonight for salad and pizza. Never disappointed in this place. I have to take a minute to rave about the margarita pizza. It is one of the best i have had in Iowa. The strong basil flavor paired with a fresh tomato flavored sauce……plus that crust has depth in flavor making it a great vehicle for all the topping. The Ivy pizza was delicious as well but definitely don’t miss out on trying the margarita.
I’ll also add the service is always top notch. I don’t think i have had a bad experience since i been coming here.“

“Lovely restaurant for a special occasion. We celebrated our 40th anniversary. Wait staff was superb. Attentive, but not overbearing. The food was delicious. Melt in your mouth steak. Special chocolate dessert on the house for our celebration. Plan on going again.“

“We had a great experience today Paul our server was excellent oh, you did a great job from start to finish really appreciate it is great customer service. My brother was very impressed with the Durango Burger said it was the best burger he is ever had in his life. My cheeseburger with bacon was very good as well took the way I like it. Appreciate the great service and hospitality and food that we enjoy.“

Wine selection was solid but not as large or varied as you would expect from a wine bar. Menu was hard to navigate because it was on a chalkboard in the corner. Great nooks to sit with a small group.“

“Four of us dined tonight at Oak Park on Ingersoll. We were welcomed at the door and thanked for coming out on a snowy evening. After being seated we were presented with menus from our server (who did a great job throughout the entire night). The menu was explained well to us and we made some choices that everyone loved from starters and through the entrees.
Some of the best starters were: the Brioche bread and the potato gnocchi. The gnocchi was truly the hit of the evening with everyone. My Filet Mignon was wonderful (and I am picky about steak having grown up on an Iowa farm where Dad raised Black Angus). My wife and SIL both had the Chilean Sea Bass which was also wonderful. I tasted some of it and it was better than any other I have had at high end restaurants anywhere.
We brought our own Magnum sized bottle of wine to share for which we paid one corkage fee. The desserts we ordered included Crème Brûlée and scoop of sherbet and some fresh-brewed French Press coffee. Overall we all agreed that dining at Oak Park tonight was a better experience than any other fine restaurant in the Des Moines area.

“had great service. food was excellent. we had the meatloaf sandwich which was spicy. the chicken noodle soup was very flavorful with lots of chicken.i had the grilled chicken sandwich with BBQ sauce and bacon. with a over sized piece of chicken and the potato salad was warm and was like German potato salad. we will definitely be back. great addition to Norwalk. took pictures, but don't see a place to add them.“

“Very hospitable establishment with great service and a fantastic Pizza!
The thin crust still had a good chew to it and the variety of toppings to choose from allows one to customize your pizza or you can pick from a number of their signature pizzas.
We opted to make our own unique combination of extra sauce, meatball, sausage, ham, and fresh garlic.
It's a very open area and we watched the pizza dough flying high and spinning as we waited for our own to be brought out.
Very cool decor includes some old pictures of the origins of the Brooklyn Pizza place from under the bridge there in New York.“
“The bison dinner was a work of art! This was my first time having bison and I would definitely come back for the dinner again! And their specialty drinks have great names with amazing flavor…. Staff was phenomenal and I really can’t say enough great things… Definitely a must to eat here!“
“Ken’s is a very nice speakeasy and it’s no secret. Food was good and drinks were also really good. Being from Texas it was nice to taste some of the local beer. Sorry no pics I can’t believe it myself. Well I guess your gonna have to come see for yourself. Thank you to all the staff. We were on a company sponsored event and Ken’s knocked it out of the park. Overall a great experience.“

“We just celebrated our marriage there with drinks and tacos! They had a killer beer and taco deal going on. We thought the drinks were delicious, the ambiance was perfect, and the staff and service were top-notch!! I would highly recommend, and can’t wait to head back!“

“This is a really nice spot for really good food and drinks! They have a nice selection of scotch and the food selection was good. Service was a little slow but it felt busier than normal (maybe). Definitely give them a shot if staying at the Marriott!!“
