“Definitely tue best and coolest bar in the midwest hands down the folks that work here are very down to earth friendly and so welcoming me and my wife being travelers popped in here for a brew and were welcomed by everyone there with such friendliness especially by tim the bartender we had a fantastic night here with great conversation and overall a great time we love this place and anyone that wants a cold drink in an awesome atmosphere should stop by farneys you wont regret it love you guys 'Andrew and Marina -the train kids :D“

“Best bar in town, great evening bartenders, but the woman working during the days is rude so I would suggest not going in til after 6. Tap is 2.50 and 7.50 for a pitcher so its really cheap. Great place. Pool table is too close to wall, would be great if place was expanded for more seats, and game area“
“Drinks are not watered down and reasonably priced. Dunker, the proprietor, is often on site, chatting with his customers and ensuring a good time. The place is packed during prime hours and while you may at times be shoulder to shoulder, the vibe of the place for the most part is pretty good.“

“1st time there and I was shocked how the place looked. Loved the vintage look with the old brick paneling, carpet on walls and bar area and a real working juke box!!!! Place is huge and has lots potential to make this a diamond in the rough... place was a little dusty BUT...the tenderloin was excellent! Now the second time was a different story... ordered the sample appetizer and it took over 15 minutes to make. Portions were small and the cheese sticks were still frozen not worth the price also there is no ATM so make sure you have plenty of cash. Bartenders were fun still had a great time there and would still go back!!!!“
