“My mom and I were in town for the day and stopped by the Petite Cafe based on the reviews. It did not disappoint! At first my mom was bummed because they had just sold the last Curry Chicken Salad for the day but we both ended up getting a BLTA and they were the best BLTAs we’ve had in years. Every element of the sandwich was fresh and tasty. We also got a chocolate chip/caramel fresh baked cookie to go and it was delicious! Great customer service as well. I would highly recommend stopping in for a quick meal or treat if you are there to tour the Bridges of Madison County. Thanks for a wonderful experience!“

“Down Town, right on the square, restaurant has brick walls,cute tin ceiling and colorful artwork. Service was friendly and food came out quickly. Aroz con pollo was huge serving of tender chicken, onions, mushrooms on a bed of rice and covered with tasy cheese sauce. Huge and delicious. Chicken fajita Quesadilla was also excellent. They have Pepsi products, but you can get bottle Coke if you ask.(Our server didn't tell us, but we saw it in a cooler on the way out) They don't bring the check to your table,you go to the cashier and tell her your table number. Good experience, would return.“

“We have had 2 family reunions at Pizza Ranch in Winterset, IA. The food was good, the people were friendly, helpful, & did a great job! We had plenty of room & they were very accommodating! I would totally recommend doing our family reunions there again! No cooking & trying to take food from 2 hours away, no rent on a building, no worries about weather, or cleanup!
