“I don’t usually take the time to leave reviews, but after my experience at Jersey Mike’s, I genuinely felt like I had to. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, clean, and upbeat — and a huge part of that was because of Hayden.
Hayden went above and beyond in every possible way. You can tell right away that he takes pride in his work. He greeted me with a smile, made eye contact, and had such a positive attitude that it honestly made my whole day better. It’s rare to see someone who brings that kind of energy to their job, especially in food service where things can get busy and stressful.
When it came to making the sandwich, Hayden was incredibly attentive and detail-oriented. He listened carefully to everything I asked for, made sure the portions were perfect, and built the sandwich neatly and professionally. The ingredients were layered evenly, nothing was rushed, and everything looked and tasted amazing. You could tell he genuinely cared about making it right, not just getting through the line.
What stood out the most was his work ethic. Even while helping me, he was aware of everything going on around him — helping teammates when needed, keeping the station clean, and maintaining a calm, focused presence even during a rush. That kind of teamwork and leadership doesn’t go unnoticed.
On top of that, Hayden was respectful, polite, and patient. He answered questions without hesitation, offered suggestions, and made the experience feel personal instead of transactional. It’s employees like him that make customers want to come back again and again.
Jersey Mike’s already has great subs, but customer service like Hayden’s is what really sets this location apart. If every place had someone like him on their team, eating out would be a much better experience everywhere.

“We love Jersey Mike subs now and then. This location on Broadway must have stellar management. We both agreed that the food was better somehow? More attention to detail was evident and we didnt have to repeat our order multiple times, like some of the other locations. It was just better. Great service, good food, location was very weird to get to. But overall, we will make it a stop over on our way out of town.“
“Went to Jersey Mike’s on Fairview in Boise, Idaho at lunch. She got a Mike’s hot Italian. I got a regular Italian mine took about five minutes. We’ve been here 20 minutes already. She is still waiting for her. The guy that’s behind the grill that is making the Mike’s hot Italian is so slow. It is hard to watch. They need to either get two cooks or somebody faster than the guy that’s back there now it was disgusting. I would never go back to that shop“
