I've eaten here twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. The restaurant is always clean rarely packed. I had the beef Pho and spring rolls for lunch and chicken Pho and egg rolls for dinner and both were very good. It only took about 10 minutes for both meals to come and both were very good. I highly recommend the egg rolls. The add in sprouts and chillies we're very fresh. Service both times were prompt and friendly. If your in Boise and like Pho or looking for something different give them a try.

I got the vegetable pho which was great, not greasy at all and pretty generous with amount of noodles that come with it. The main issue I had was the amount of flies in the restaurant! There were at least four or five flies on my table throughout the meal, touching the food, on the table, on my arms… GROSS. It was the most annoying thing constantly having to seat the flies away. The waitress knew because when she gave me the food she just shooed the flies away and said sorry, that was all. Only reason for the three stars.
I ordered a seaweed salad and crispy egg rolls. The salad was soaked in oil and soy sauce. I couldn't taste the seaweed. The egg rolls were spring rolls that were fried. They were full of rice noodles and one sliver of carrot. They were so soaked in oil that they left 1/4 inch of cooking oil in the bottom of the styrofoam tray. I couldn't eat anything that I bought. I am so disappointed. I won't be back.
The portion sizes are very generous for the price, the staff is friendly, and food is ready in a short amount of time! The chef even brought out some extra veggie broth with my pho :) I would definitely recommend for vegans and vegetarians, and everyone else!
This place has gone downhill fast! They stopped serving sandwiches, and the pho we ordered was sad. The broth was so watered down it was just oily water with no flavor. The meat was mostly gristly nasty end pieces no one would eat. And they gave me the vegan spring rolls when I ordered the shrimp ones specifically. Two thumbs down.
I miss the old management and menu. I won’t come back.$15 for a takeout bun chay meal that fit in my small cereal bowl.5-6 pieces of veggie that looks like it came from a Costco frozen bag and just thawed. Not tender or seasoned. Broccoli, carrot and mushroom.ONE piece of tofu. One. In the whole meal. And two bites size pieces of egg roll. The sauce was bland and sour.I didn’t eat the food, I went somewhere else.
Came in with a friend on a whim, we ordered gyoza, a king roll, Thai fried rice with chicken, and spicy Thai basil with chicken. The food was AMAZING. Totally unexpected deliciousness thus the lame photos. Definitely would eat here again.
I went to eat there with my wife for lunch. Here is my opinion below.Very fresh.Big portions.Very reasonable prices.Extremely delicious food.Go there and you will see what I am talking about.I just found my favorite place to eat.The staff was friendly and sincere.
I’m pretty sure it has new ownership. It’s not the same food in any way. They don’t offer egg rolls anymore. The portion sizes were tiny considering the cost. No flavor. The liquid that comes with the bun tastes like msg. All salty in a chemical way. Will never go back. Maybe the Chinese food is better here. This is the only review I’ve ever done.
Absolutely Good place with nice dining room and reallyyyyy good food!!!

I had really high hopes for 208 pho..... there are many times my family wants pho.... honestly it's not my favorite dish... so a restaurant that had a menu beyond pho is always a bonus for me. While the food was not bad.... it left much to be desired... service was a hot mess, and just need to be worked on. The dining area was clean and parking was good, access was easy...I well probably give them another chance for redemption.. but it might be a minute.
Food was just ok. I ordered the seafood pho and it ended being only shrimp. Normally what you order seafood there is at least a small variety of seafood in it, otherwise they should call it shrimp pho. The broth was very light and no flavorful and my noodles were over cooked. The service was slow but they did apologize for the wait saying something about needing help. We also ordered a few bento options and family said it was tasty but we had tempura and when I asked for tempura sauce, we were given something that was like Maggi sauce or Magic Mountain seasoning (something that is like a stronger soy sauce) and NOT tempura sauce. They were busy tho, so it might be good for some folks but definitely not for me.
Had 208 Pho for lunch and was disappointed. Small bowl with no option for larger one, very little meat provided mainly noodles and the bowl was only 2/3 full with broth. Waiter was minimal at best. By the way, they charge a credit card fee if used and don’t mention it up front. 2nd time I ate and it was marginal at best.
good food, good service nice ambient
Very delicious food. Everything was freshly cooked and sautéed. They have open seating and customer service was well communicated. I enjoyed their Halo-Halo Mixed fresh boba (pink drink in picture) and was told the mango tang boba was equally satisfying. Beautiful music and the football game was going on as well!:)
