cozy traditional feeling atmosphere. yummy authentic tasting Basque dishes, and the chorizo is top notch. Eskerrik Asko to the Ansotegui family from the Elorrieta family. we had a great time tonight, made us feel like family.
This was my first time coming to Ansots; it will not be my last. I found out about this restaurant by watching the CBS Saturday Morning show; air date: Jan 14, 2023; reported by Jeff Glor. The show was on Boise's Basque community and featured Ansots chef/owner Dan Ansotegui and his daughter Ellie. In person these two are funny, VERY nice and so entertaining! Because of the great food and friendly atmosphere, we will be going back. And I will make reservations next time. 🥰
So much to love about this place. Great food great service great location and I have the feeling for a minute that I am back in the Basque country but most importantly and the best thing is that it smells just like Amuma’s house did when she was cooking and so I get to have all those great memories all day.
