From out of state and wanted some good seafood, so I thought I'd give this a try. It was within walking distance to my hotel. I went early dinner hour so I ate in the bar area. Ordered the caesar salad and had them add grilled salmon. It was perfectly grilled, fresh and the salad was fresh as well. The service was excellent and went back a few more times before I left Boise. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We came for my son’s 11th birthday. He said, “The steak was perfect and the service was really nice!”

You won’t find better seafood in Boise. Many fresh, grilled options with daily specials. Great halibut, trout, Ahi and occasionally sea bass. Fish is grilled or pan fried with tasty sauces. Sides are average including steamed broccoli and garlic mash. Try the calamari for a good appetizer. Full bar with good drinks. This was our second visit and on the first service was impeccable, on this visit not so much but they seemed understaffed for a Friday. Staff was friendly and apologetic. Great seafood for Boise but overpriced in my opinion. $167 for two each with 1 drink, appetizer and no dessert. That did include tip. Comparable options exist for 20 percent less but you won’t be disappointed with the main dish itself.Dietary restrictions: Not a broad selection but this is a seafood houseParking: Parking available mostly in paid lots and buildings. No parking lotKid-friendliness: Not a place I would bring young kids or teens.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes accessible

Halibut fish and chips definitely not their best special. Chips were mediocre at best. Fish was tasteless.

We came here with a group of people and had the private banquet room. Service was great, super attentive and friendly. Food was good, definitely pricy but worth a try if you are bringing people who love seafood and want somewhere nice to experience.

We love fish and have been trying to make time for Anthony's for several years now. We finally decided we'd make a reservation for our anniversary. The restaurant was clean and the staff was polite. Not super friendly, but not rude. The food was ok. It wasn't bad at all, but it also wasn't amazing. When you combine the ok food with the ok staff and then add in the cost, it becomes not so good. Then you also have to take into consideration the ridiculously long time you have to wait for the now not so good food and ok staff and then the whole experience goes into the terrible category for a restaurant. Such a bummer.

The oyster eating contest is really off putting. Think: college bar contest meets fine dining. General Manager blurts out over the entire restaurant, asking for volunteers. Our entrees were delayed because of this oyster eating contest. It was disappointing. Service generally was slow. Floating stuff in my martinis, bread with no butter (that's sliced as if a blind person was handed a bread knife). Shrimp had a smell to them which was also gross. Wouldn't return and don't think you should consider.

Service was super slow. Server apologized and said it was because they just seated a 15 top right before us, but we’re paying the same prices so that’s a tough excuse to accept. Would not recommend the steamer clams. Served cold and didn’t taste great. Steak and prawns had a bread crumb mixture over the entire dish that was odd at best. We typically love Anthony’s, but this night was a big miss.

Made reservations for my wife's birthday dinner here a few weeks ago and called to ask in advance if the oyster sampler was a dozen oysters for $30 - because their marketing material showed a sampler of 6 oysters in the image. Six oysters for $30 is $5 an oyster - which is a LOT. So I called in advance so I could avoid having that discussion with the waiter when we showed up in front of my wife - cause that's embarrassing. The gal on the phone told me that the sampler came with 12 oysters. I told her thank goodness because $30 for 6 oysters would be ridiculous - and she AGREED. Showed up yesterday and guess what? You only get 6 oysters in the sampler for $30. So we ordered the sampler and my wife asks if he can add some a'la carte to make the sampler 12 oysters - TWO pieces of each version they had. Because we wanted to share them and each try one. Which is why you usually get a dozen at most places. Anyhow she got a glass of wine I got a pilsner - with the tip (because yes I still tipped) it came to $85. $85 for two drinks and a dozen oysters! What a rip off! We only came here because Little Pearl has been closed. Thank GOD it's opening up again next week, Even THEIR oysters are cheaper - and they are a Fancy place. Clean and with great KNOWLEDGEABLE staff. Anyhow my LAST oyster was spit out because it was rancid. So that literally left a bad taste in my mouth. Mainly, I feel like I was tricked because I was lied to about what I was going to be getting. Also the waiter did not know which oyster was which - my wife had to help him - they didnt put the oysters in order so we had to guess what was what. ALSO the lovely table that was chosen for this special occasion: There were crumbs all over the carpet next to me like a baby had sat there before me and it didn't get cleaned up at all. Wall had stains on it - and the menus that came on the table were dirty - just not a clean place and not acceptable for a higher end restaurant (which I learned I guess is a chain and is not high end at all?). When the waiter came to ask how the food was I asked for the check so we could go to our favorite restaurant down the street - where we actually ended up enjoying her birthday dinner. Sucks that I had to spend an additional $85 and waste an hour of our evening here. Won't be back - also I tried to call to talk with a manager about this but no one is answering their phones today I guess.

My husband and I had the best dinner! The waitresses and atmosphere were amazing! We couldn’t have had a better time! If there were 6 stars I would give them that! Highly recommended!!!!
