Came here on suggestion from another bar, lamb stew and a original basque cider, the staff here is really great and friendly. Definitely a place to come and eat and enjoy some good drinks. A lot of good stuff on tap but the food menu is something that you got to try. Also not too expensive, you don't get service like this in many places. Great staff
My wife and I stopped in for lunch this past weekend. We were in town for vacation. Wow! Were we blown away with how good our food was. We had the chicken grinder and the chicken was moist, tender and had just enough of a kick to make it flavorful. We also had the Monkless beer which was very tasty. Our waitress Renee was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely return next time we are in town!
I visited Bar Gernika on my final night in Boise. The hustle and bustle of the Friday night crowd was apparent, but I was greatly kindly and led to high-top once a table came open. The restaurant may not be bright and chic, but its heart pours out from every nook and cranny.
