Wa happened upon this deliciousness by a quick search of Mexican restaurants near me while driving around. So glad we did!!!! Checked out the website and was pleased that it was family owned. Also reasonably priced. Came in and it’s totally adorable. Super friendly staff. Great food choices and DELICIOUS food at an excellent value! This is definitely our new go to Mexican place!
I had high hopes for this restaurant based on the the 4.6 overall rating. I wish I would have read the individual reviews to see that many others felt the same way that my husband and I did about the food. It was pricey for mediocre food. The rice, which was more of a white rice with lime juice, not your traditional Spanish rice, wasn’t very flavorful. The chips and salsa were good but for the price, the main dishes just were not up to par.

Second time coming and I’m convinced this is the best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to in Boise. The service, food, and atmosphere is all excellent- my husband got the chicken mole enchiladas, which were delicious, but in my opinion the chimichurri steak was the star of the show. Absolutely fantastic, and very reasonably priced for the quality. Will be making this our regular spot for when we are craving Mexican food!
