I have been fantasizing about the pumpkin spiced Chai latte I got last week from the Broadway Black Rock. I had to stop into the Ustick location to get another one today. I'm hooked!
I decided to head in and see what the vibe was like. It's a pretty chill venue. It's a smaller joint. They have quite a few tables to hang at inside. Awesome outside seating as well. The main wall was very colorful and bold! I appreciate that everything else about the joint was simple. The simple decor on the merch shelf. The simple tables and chairs. The main thing that caught my eye was the pretty light fixture. I love unique lighting. Everything flowed nicely together!
I was instantly greeted by a cute barista behind the counter. She let me check out the drink menu for a bit. I went there for a pumpkin spiced Chai and as fun as it sounded to try something different, I stuck with my original plan.
It was later in the afternoon so it was pretty chill. My drink was made pretty quickly. I grabbed a table to sip on it for a bit. Boy was it good! It tasted just like the one I had last week. It was sweet and spicy in spices. I really like the almond milk that they use. It's so creamy and rich. It's the perfect drink for us fall loving folks!
My drink made my day today. I also got a cute sticker from the barista. They have them out for you to grab which was cool. The venue is so chill and the staff is great! I'm happy I stopped in today and I'm looking forward to my next stop in!

The service is nice but this coffee bar is too busy with too few employees. We had to wait around 15 minutes just to place our order and we were the only ones in line! The 3 employees were working on a lot of drive through orders and what appeared to be large phone in orders. After finally getting to place our order it was quite a long time before receiving our order. My hot French toast latte was served iced instead. I wasn’t willing to wait to have it corrected so iced it stayed. Though tasty I would have far preferred hot as ordered. Management should hire at least one more person. Inside was way too noisy to carry on a conversation also. Outside was better … unless raining!

I don’t typically get coffee because I usually just make it at home. However, I stopped by Black Rock coffee for the first time. Erin (the barista working) was extremely helpful explaining the drinks on the menu and very patient with my mom and me while we ordered. I ordered the iced french toast breve and I asked Erin if I could have the drink with as little sweetener as possible. She made it PERFECTLY and it was honestly the best iced coffee I’ve had in a very long time. The coffee was so good I ordered a second one before leaving. I would definitely return to this Black Rock coffee because of the excellent customer service provided by Erin.

Black Rock always has the best coffee in my opinion but the thing that really stands out to me is that they already put the cream cheese on your bagel so you don’t have to. Most of the time I’m headed to work when I get my bagel and coffee so it’s really convenient for me.

I met a couple of friends for coffee. My order didn't take too long, I ordered the Caramel Blondie, hot, and a slice of banana bread. They were both good. My friend, who ordered before me, just ordered a black coffee. She had to go up to the counter after I received my order to ask for her coffee. That was disappointing to my friend, it was just black coffee, nothing special.

Went to order coffee for my wife. Gal asked me 3x what I wanted. There was only 1 car in front of me. Pull up to the window, and I just sat there for several minutes before I was greeted while the girls talked to each other. Then, one of them proceeds to ask what I wanted again. Wait several minutes. Paid $10 for a medium latte. Take coffee to wife at work, and they made the wrong drink. Maybe you should pay more attention to what you're doing instead of standing around talking. 1st time customer, will not be back.
