Just had Christmas Eve dinner…very disappointing. The food was bland and tasteless. My MahiMahi was over cooked and the service was lacking. My family and I rarely go out and were excited to try something new. Unfortunately we will not be back.

First time here, I came on Christmas Eve. The food was quite good. Both my appetizers, the bang-bang Brussel sprouts and filet mignon were excellent...the lobster a bit overdone but still good. Very friendly, prompt and courteous staff. A very lovely restaurant...just remember to make a reservation ahead of

Solid 4 stars. Pleasant setting with a good view of the street. The seared tuna appetizer was superb, but the swordfish was a bit dry. The service was relatively quick and effective. Overall, quite good.

SOOOOOOOO good! The food is so delicious here and the service was AWESOME! We had Lily as our server/bartender and she was so great. We ordered the fried pumpkin ravioli, Bang Bang shrimp, the swordfish, and the chimichurri bistro filet. The drinks were so good (the SMOKY old fashioned has a fun presentation!!), the food was excellent, and the service was 5 stars. Will be back soon!

Happy hour drink and food menu is amazing! (Remember to tip as if it was full priced) Plus the heated patio is really pretty and off the main roads. Service was great!

Went in for lunch and sat at the bar. Lilly, the bartender, was taking care of seated customers and bar service. It was pretty busy and she obviously had her hands full, but took great care of me. Her interaction with customers is exactly what you would want if you own a restaurant. Professional, efficient, and very welcoming. The Bang Bang tacos were over the top fantastic. I could have had seconds but had to go back to work. Keep up the good work Lilly, you made my day. I will definitely be back again!

Our blackened mango fish tacos with a lime crema was tasteless. We always order this and today we were very disappointed! The lime sauce had no lime taste as always before they were very tasty and only a very small drizzle on top. Also, very very little fish inside and very large taco shell!!Shrimp was good. Pot stickers were fabulous! Our waitress was wonderful, so we gave her a tip and said nothing about the tacos.

Fish and chips were good but the tartar sauce was a little bland. Loved the ginger coleslaw, needed more of that! Drink selection was a bit limited. Excellent service from our waitress Ally.

A foursome for dinner starting with some adult beverages made to a tee! Our starter was a plate of Bang Bang shrimp, whatever that means and it a tasty de lite! I ordered a filet and lobster tail. Filet perfected at medium rare and the lobster was served with a butter and lemon. All pleasantly downed with a fab Columbia river Cabernet. My side was a wonderful mashed potatoes, very unique. The entire meal was awesome. I can’t believe I haven’t been here before. Dessert was a cheesecake on the house. All and all, it was a wonderful 2 1/2 hour experience. Try it!

I have visited this restaurant about 5 times now. The first time of my choosing. The remainder because others wanted to go. Well, this last Friday night was the worst and the last. My cocktail was watered down and had a spoiled cherry in it. The appetizer was luke warm at best and my entry was like eating a piece of cardboard. The waitress would not let me enjoy my cocktail and company. She was in a big hurry to get our order to turn the table I guess. This was odd since the place was not even half full. When she did take my order, she failed to clear the menus from the table. They sat there on the table for the entire meal. She did not offer us desert but brought the bill as we were taking our last bite.I am really surprised this place is in business. Especially with the great options that have entered the Boise market place like Wylder and Percy which do a great job in food, atmosphere and service. Bottom line, very disappointed in my experience and will not return. I am really perplexed as to how they have such high ratings.

If you have a very sensitive gluten allergy there are some items you can have and be safe. They have a dedicated GF menu that you need to ask for. No sickness after eating the steak felt like a mini miracle. The flavor was good too. The only drawback of this place was that the music playing on the speakers was really annoying.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Bonefish Grill. We had a wedding rehearsal party dinner for 50 people, and the service was flawless. Highly recommend!
