These stars are only for how sweet the girls working here are.

Compared to the original location, this one is night and day difference, and I mean that in a terrible way. Caffeina on State has been a staple for me since I moved here to the treasure valley. Upon moving to the bench, I was so stoked to be so close to one of their locations!!!

Until I realized how underwhelming this one is in comparison. Can't tell you how many times I've gotta wait at the menu outside for multiple minutes with no one else in line before being noticed. Then, it never takes less than 8 minutes for my single drink. And it never tastes the same, literally ever. And now, after being on bed rest for the last 4 days, wanted to treat myself to a peppermint mocha. But nope, as usual, this caffeina is a letdown. No peppermint until December.

The girls working here are super nice and such a delight any time I come in but that's literally the only redeeming quality of this location. Not sure I'll go back now because it's just letdown after letdown with this location. It's equidistant to push and pour for me and while Caffeina on State does a better mocha than P&P, I can't ever expect that quality or consistency from this location. Utterly disappointing.

Sat at the bar and were ignored by multiple staff members for 5 minutes before leaving.

Loved everything about it. The server was very nice when taking my order, the food was amazing (I had the vegan burrito) and the place is cozy and warm.

It was okay.
Things I didn’t like: They’ve raised prices by $2 over the last year. The burrito was not good at all. Service was very slow. Bathroom was dirty.
Things I liked: the drip coffee I had was delicious. The staff were very pleasant. Decor was comfy.

It was fine as coffee shops go but I expected more from the views. It wasn’t bad and if you go, you will like it. But with so many options in the area I’d probably try somewhere else next time.

When Common Grounds is closed, this is a nice backup. Coffee is decent (help yourself to coffee selections, cream & sugars). Staff is nice but perfunctory. Gorgeous natural lighting amidst garage sale seating. Feels relaxed.

But on a hot day, the air conditioner needs to be cranked up higher.

Unfortunately I can’t speak to the coffee, I never received it. I ordered a shot in the dark black, a very simple order. After waiting 10 minutes I could see my cup was still in line with the drive through orders and several cups behind still. I wasn’t willing to be late to work to try their coffee. I think inside orders should not be in line with the drive through order and simple drinks like brewed coffee, shot in the dark, americanos especially if ordered black should not have to wait on complex caramel drizzle extra foam no lactose bs. Enjoy my $6 I gave you in trade for nothing. Glad I tipped.

I came to Caffeina looking to get some homework done and get some coffee. The barista recommended a White Chocolate Mocha with brown sugar, and it was delicious! I also bought some beans to brew at home (Idahome), and they are strong and tasty.
Good vibes and better coffee.

Coffee was decent, couldn’t finish my avocado toast due to the amount of flies inside the place. It has very tight seating arrangements, flies everywhere, and not a comfortable place to be at if needing to work or do a project. The bar area doesn’t have a bar for feet so sitting at the bar was not comfortable. I was hoping to find a coffee shop in the area that has comfortable seating, open space, and areas for working professionals but this is more of a get a snack and coffee, meet your friend for a few minutes and leave. Not really a good spot to do work if working remotely.

The seats were really comfy! Loved the cold brew and veggie breakfast burrito. I didn’t look for WiFi, but I did notice they had lots of outlets. What a nice cafe!

The coffee had an interesting, really delicious taste. I ordered a vanilla latte, half-caf, and sugar free. It was creamy and had a very unique flavor that I just couldn't identify but I loved it. We went thru the drive up so I didn't have a chance to ask, but definitely going again. My husband also liked his mocha alot.
