I'm so happy I found this place!! I got the lavender oat milk latte and it was delicious. Momo was so friendly, he told me all about the domes and community center. I even got to take my dog into the dome to explore the plants and koi pond. Really cool what they have going on there. I will be coming back often!! Do yourself a favor and go ?

Constellation Coffee has all the tasty caffeine for my weekend needs. Smoothies for kids and incredible cold brew coffee, too. The BioDome project behind it is one of my happy places in Boise.

Did you know Boise has a Bio Dome? Or a place called Xanadu? Neither did I, until I visited Constellation Coffee. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood near the Orchard/Fairview intersection, Constellation Coffee is located on the property of the Idaho Burners Alliance, Inc., a nonprofit corporation that is “a creative alliance, focused on bringing art, science and technology education to Idaho.” Xanadu aka “Xu” is a large building on the property that makes up the workspace. The Bio Dome is a large greenhouse on the property that is open to the public.Constellation Coffee has limited hours. It took me a couple of attempts before I was able to try their coffee in May 2023, but it was worth the wait. Barista Momo was very friendly and helpful. He made me an excellent 16 oz. Mocha, extra hot + no foam, just how I like it. It came with a chocolate covered espresso bean on top, which was a nice touch. After I got my coffee, I checked out the Bio Dome, which is 40 ft. tall, and filled with thousands of plant species. I visited in late May. As soon as I stepped through the doors, I was hit with a wall of humidity. The combination of the hot, heavy moisture and the lush greenery was the closest I have experienced felt to being in a tropical rainforest, since I lived in Africa. Everywhere I looked, there was something amazing to behold!Afterwards, I got a tour of Xanadu from Kaden Sinclair, President of the Idaho Burners Alliance. He bought the property, which functioned as a church from the 1930s until the 1950s, so he could use it to build the art car “Joule” for Burning Man 2015, and it grew from there…I’m going to include a link to the Idaho Burners Alliance website, and a video featuring Kaden explaining how Xu has evolved over time. One of his goals is to obtain the funding to build something similar to Meow Wolf, in Boise. Meow Wolf is an arts and entertainment company that creates large scale, interactive art installations.Hours:Open Friday through Monday from 8 AM to 2 PMHighly Recommended!!!

Got the Matcha and it was lovely. They has a bowl of doggy treats for my guy and Mo was an absolute pleasure to meet. They just started doing grilled cheeses and English muffins too! Will be coming back regularly.

First ever visit to Constellation coffee at Xanadu interactive art & science community. Momo is lively, down to earth, and made this visit special. One-of-kind spot with a fun bio dome and community arts center right there! My dirty Chai made with oat milk (Momo's suggestion) was frickin' delicious!!! >_<

Great place to get coffee! Very friendly and knowledgeable. I’m not a big coffee drinker myself so I wasn’t sure what to get. I told him what I kind of wanted and he ran with it. The drink was exactly what I was looking for! Will be back!
