I don't know if's because they aren't downtown but I feel like Corso is slept on when it comes to steak house recommendations it's not mentioned enough. We went tonight, had a reservation at 7, and were seated right away by a very friendly hostess. Our waitress, Broquelle, was an all star, so sweet but also a very good waitress. Such a hidden gem! Very beautiful dining room and nice music that really set the tone for a relaxing evening meal. We had shrimp cocktail to start and had chopped Italian salads. We both ordered the flat iron steak, my husband had it with the crab(Oscar) and I had mine with the mushroom Demi glaze....everything was delicious. Will be going back!
My steak was great. My wife's was the same cut but hers was a bit overcooked and was dry. Risotto was slightly undercooked and missing a little flavor. Really enjoyed the sausage and peppers appetizer. Drinks were made well. Very dark ambiance. More intimate for a groupd than I prefer
