Solid old school donut place that offers a lot of choices in donuts. Gave it five stars for atmosphere because it is a well stocked donut place that makes plenty of varieties of donuts with the intent to get you in and out with some great donuts. Not a place to hang out and drink coffee and chat, place is small but it is a donut place.
Maybe a little pricey, but really good, and perhaps you have not noticed that those crappy ones at the gas station are even more expensive. These small places are disappearing around the country, so enjoy them while they are still around, and drop by so you get an idea as to why people like donuts, when they are fresh made in the shop with tons of choices at a reasonable cost.

Old school Boise. DK has been around forever and has the best donuts in the valley, hard stop. Service is lovely, it’s family-owned and operated, and I will continue to support them forever and ever.
I went in and bought two donuts yesterday. Total 3.86. THEN my cash app shows that a Five dollar tip was added!!!! I never tipped five bucks!! Very shady!!!! I'm calling them today!! Wonder if this happens to others.

Google told us we were going to Dunkin Donuts so I was a little surprised when we arrived and it wasn’t a Dunkin. HOWEVER, I’m so glad it wasn’t a Dunkin Donuts. This place had real, fresh, quality, homemade donuts! The woman who helped me was very friendly and helpful. I thought it was neat that there was an entire pallet of donut ingredients, I’ve never seen such big bags of ingredients before. I got a few donuts (cake donut and maple bacon bars) and a coffee. Well when we got back on the road and I pulled the donuts out for the family my kiddo was happy but absolutely ecstatic when they took the first bite. It was immediately “YUM! This is SOOO good! Dad you need to try your donut now it’s so yummy!” And they really were so good! I was thoroughly impressed with their donuts and how delicious and absolutely perfect and fresh they were! We’re not from the area so unfortunately we won’t have good donuts again until we can return to Boise and stop back by here. 12/10 recommend these donuts! This was the best Google mistake to have happened to us and we’ll be adding DK Donuts to our list of regular stops/returns to Boise trips.
Parking: There was a good amount of parking in a lot off the street but we went at an odd time - 1030 on a Monday and there were probably five cars there. I would say if it’s normal donut time/earlier morning/weekend parking may be hard because I’m sure it is even busier at those times.
Kid-friendliness: There isn’t a ton of seating inside but I would definitely bring my kids in here, the donuts are displayed in an enclosed case at kid eye level/height and this would be so fun to bring them in to pick out their own donut!
