I went here while in Boise and the barista was way to rude to my wife when she asked for a Carmel macchiato. His reply was a small rant about Starbucks. Come on just b polite and answered her question and keep your wannabe hipster s*** attitude to yourself. Also the latte sucked.

Just wanted to say that I had my first cup of Dawson Taylor coffee this morning at The Griddle breakfast restaurant in Meridian.

I ordered and paid for a large drip and received what I later realized was the medium size, which was disappointing, but I was in a rush and didn't have time to go back and show them my receipt. Also, not a fan of paper straws! They disintegrate so quickly and taste bad. The coffee, however, was good.

I have never had a bad coffee from Dawson Taylor... It is no wonder why every popular restaurant in town chooses to serve their incredible brew. I went for the first time this summer and was delighted by the smells, pastries, drink options and kindness. The employees were warm and helpful. The retail side is aesthetic as all get out. I sit here writing this in a severe September rain with the doors open. I think I have found my new favorite coffee shop! (Plus it's so close to BSU and my apartment)!

The location is pretty cool. The help at the bar was decent. I'm a big espresso fan. And I was surprised that this roaster wasn't really weighing out anything. I tried a single origin roast as well as a plan. They were both a bit acidic. Which tells me there is some dialing in to do. I then went back and visited with one of the roasters. They gave me a full on tour of the location and walk me through a couple of their rules and processes. It was in lightning and I was very appreciative of it. I will go back. They also packaged up a fresh bag of beans for me which have been delightful.

Roast is probably my favorite coffee spot. It is always nice and quiet and the perfect spot to pick up coffee beans (can you get any more fresh??) and a drink. The crew here is always super friendly and does a fantastic job of pulling shots. Don't sleep on the DT special of a discounted drink when you buy a pound of beans!

This place is okay at best. The inside is not particularly clean. The drinks are just drinkable. I had a chi tea and it was too sweet for my liking. My husband had the cold brew and he said it wasn't great. The pastries are in the open and uncovered. The straws are paper, which I understand is supposed to be environmentally friendly, but paper straws taste bad.

The coffee I had (Carmel mocha) was the worst I've ever had.

I had an orange coconut indeed coffee and it was amazing. Not something I would normally try but it was worth it. If you are in the area check it out.

THE best coffee. I always get my beans for my morning coffee at Dawson's. I love trying the variety of brews they have available. The unique flavors in their high quality roasts make my heart happy ❤️ ☕️
