This very well may be my favorite coffee shop in Boise. Well priced, nice rewards, great staff, excellent atmosphere. Excellent location.

Roast @ Dawson Taylor Coffee Roasters in the Lusk District is a cute place with plants and roasting equipment. The vibe is calm, laid back and not as trendy as the downtown shop. Baristas are helpful, kind and extremely friendly, often making different latte arts for each cup. Guests can watch the coffee roasters in the storage area and see what is roasting. The selection includes pour‑over coffees, espresso primo beans, Costa Rica Candelaria, Organic French Decaf and a robust selection of treats from Gaston’s Bakery. Popular items are the iced tea, pastry, Gruire Thyme croissant, hazelnut latte with foam, americano and to‑go drip coffee. The barista served an elegant hazelnut latte and an americano, a great start to any weekend. Educational programs such as World of Specialty Coffee events are interesting and enjoyable, and the team plans to sign up for other events. The staff are responsive, reliable and deliver with a genuine smile. Even when the downtown location is inconvenient, this location is willing and able to accommodate, making it a great place to come on Sundays or any day.
