The Reuben sandwich was good, but it lacked sufficient meat. The atmosphere was enjoyable, although the loud pop music was not to my liking. I am giving three stars primarily because the cashier showed no effort to be friendly or provide polite customer service. Her lack of greeting, thank you, or please and her consistently blank expression made me feel unwelcome. Instead of standing to greet customers as they came in, she simply slouched on her barstool. I guess standing is too strenuous for people these days. Additionally, her dismissive attitude and instruction to "Go sit down" were unacceptable. It is disappointing that Deli George claims to be a five-star deli but provides such poor customer service. It's imperative to train your staff better to avoid such experiences in the future. This level of service is simply not acceptable.
Person at the counter wasn't at all engaged with me before or while ordering. Was on their phone while other customers were looking at ordering. I asked for eating in and they put it in a to go bag. Sandwich was decent, but super expensive for a deli sandwich.

I Ordered The italian sandwich and the sandwich was okay, but very tiny and lacking a good amount of toppings. They can improve on this a lot For the price.
Very personable and treat us like family every time we stop, so much flavor in every bite. Definitely take a chance on this place!!!

The culinary offerings at this establishment are of exceptional quality, although the demeanor of the staff could be improved upon. Despite this, the delectable nature of the cuisine compensates for any shortcomings in service. The ambiance is somewhat peculiar, as the decor lacks a cohesive theme. Nevertheless, I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment.

$16 for a small, dry, bread-bountiful, meat-meager Reuben. An expensive letdown.

Have not been here for years, and so very disappointed today. The place looked dirty. My sandwich was so dry I didn't even finish all of it. What happened here? It is not worth it. And for what we spent today for 2 sandwiches, drinks ($51) we could have a really nice meal anywhere in Boise. Don't eat here, waste of money. I will never go back

I absolutely love their sandwiches. But I must bid Deli George a bitter farewell. My regular I get jumped to $17.99 from $15.49 in a few days. Until the prices come back down, I must say goodbye. ?
Ever since I started working downtown this place has been my go-to. The chicken cheddar bacon ranch sandwich is amazing every time.
