Never had too much of an issue here but the manager/staff here are not reliable or helpful at all. My friend got kicked out because the manager saw her knock over a drink off a table, mind you, the table is broken and unsteady to begin with, so it wasn't even her fault and the manager "saw on video" and decided she was too drunk and got kicked out.

It was close to closing time and the guy guarding the bathrooms didn't want to let me in :( I asked the guy controlling the mechanical bill tonight 09/22/2023 if there was any way they could let me go as this girl had to go and he did. Shoutout to that guy! Thank you!

This is a nice little basement country bar that's right underneath Strange Love club or the old China Blue club. The drink specials that are on the weekends before 11 are not bad for Boise standards. The staff here is a hit or miss in regards to quality and friendliness however for the most part the experiences i've had with the staff here are positive. I will say that often times on the weekends, especially on special event nights or when BSU is in session Roddys does get a bit crowded and a bit on the warm side as well due too all the people. This is the only bar in Downtown Boise that has a mechanical bull which generally costs five dollars to ride. While this technically is a country bar they do however tend to mix in some hip pop or top 40 music in the mix. Like Strange Love club which is owned by the same owner the regular drink prices are a bit on the pricey side
