Our waitress was super nice. But she was a bit busy, and and we ended up having to wait a little longer than expected to get our order in. The food was excellent. The place was pretty normal and reasonably quiet, until they seated five young men in the booth near us and it became extremely noisy. We would definitely return at a less busy time.

It's your classic diner with tons of decor and traditional booth and counter seating. Great place for a cup of coffee and breakfast, never a bad experience coming here. :)

Love this place, we went on New Year’s Day. Did you know the only day they close is Christmas? And owner Candy is the chef every day. Big portions. I ordered a skillet with scrambled eggs, pepper jack, spinach, mushrooms and sausage.

My husband and in laws and I stopped for lunch. My husband ordered the liver and onions and said it was delicious. Generous portion of yummy mashed potatoes and liver and onions were cooked to perfection according to him. ( I don't like liver and onions no matter how they are cooked.) My mother-in-law and I had the soup of the day, lentil and ham soup. It was the best lentil soup I have ever had. I could have eaten two bowls of it. My father-in-law had breakfast combo eggs, lots of hash browns, a hunk of ham, 2 slices of bacon and 2 sausages. We also had a very moist and tasty brownie with ice cream and a very good piece of cherry pie ala mode. All of this food came to only $61!!
We are wishing we didn't live over 300 miles away from Candy's.
