The bagels were amazing, but the girl behind the counter that served us acted like we were bothering her. She acted like she didn't want to be at work, and when I asked to taste one of the smears, she was annoyed. She got it for me and then promptly walked away so I wouldn't ask for another.

A great place that is allergey friendly snd they have a sweet enviorment with good bagels! They have great customer service when i asked them both times that i went to accommodate for my allergies, and they did a great job. You know who also did a great job, Maya, from Tupelo Honey Restaurant in downtown Boise. She went back and forth asking questions for me and I had a good dinner because of it. Maya the waitress at Tupelo honey is the goat fr🤞🏼🥱

Dietary restrictions: Great place if you have dairy allergies

I’ve tried this place three separate times with different orders and end up disappointed every time. The bagel sandwiches are always way too salty and pretty “meh”. Each bite makes me want to stop more and more, to the point of taking two bites and throwing the rest away. Nothing on the west coast compares to the bagels of Long Beach/Long Island, NY, but truly these are much further from those than I prefer.

The customer service is okay, although have had them be rude a few times or pretty judgmental ordering a vegan sandwich when I’m not vegan but wanting to try it. Also they don’t have anything but drip coffee, so don’t go in expecting anything better than that - there’s a great coffee shop down the block though.

So I had my first experience with Goldstein's Bagels. I was honestly really disappointed I read the instructions on DoorDash I didn't wave my phone to be respectful and polite, I honestly thought that was a little odd in the instructions but I thought okay. There was no line or orders being prepared and the four gals behind the counter were just talking in pairs they made eye contact with me a few times but then they started stepping in front of each other to avoid eye contact and I was even smiling nice. So I was completely ignored and then after 5 minutes of that I said pardon me and asked for help then they finally started helping. Honestly I didn't realize I was such a big inconvenience. The order was already done and sitting there, as a Dasher or Uber eats I don't recommend accepting orders from this place it's really disheartening.

Every time we go here, something always gets screwed up. We asked for 5 salt bagels and 1 cinnamon. Looked in the bag when we got home and had 5 cinnamon and 1 salt. Each tome we go and pay cash, the cashier cant figure out how much the change is (maybe the register would tell her?). The amount of lox is a rip off.

Really poor manner of service. They’re really rude to people who put in online orders. They don’t work in a timely manner and it is really disappointing because the food is amazing.

Honestly I used to love this place but something is up. The last three times I’ve ordered to go bagels something is wrong / missing from my order, like sausage patty or the cream cheese altogether. It’s gotten to the point that I check my ordered before I leave. Not a huge deal, but for what you’re paying you’d like it to be correct more than half the time. I went in today craving the szechuan cream cheese. And it’s just not as good as it used to be, even the color looks more bland that what it was a year ago. Not sure what’s going on but it seems like corners are being cut in terms of ingredients/ recipes. But I’m just a customer so who knows

The bagels looks great but not what I am use to. Their price point is way over for any bagel but is only my opinion. Their service was very nice and the atmosphere was pretty good as well. The one thing for me not to go back is the price point.

So incredibly overpriced for a bagel! Even a simple bagel with only a few ingredients on it costs around $15-$20. This place is a joke!

I will start off by saying that being from the east coast and having had some of the best bagels there are, my expectations were on par when trying an Idaho bagel joint. That being said, my partner and I went in this morning to grab some quick bagels and mine was a simple egg bagel with cream cheese and his was a bagel with lox and cream cheese and the total came to over $35. There is never an instance where two breakfast bagels should be $35. Not to mention that my bagel was so salty, I couldn’t eat more than 2 bites. I’m appalled at this gentrified abomination of a bagel joint. After paying $35 for two simple bagels, I was expecting the best bagel of my life but it was mediocre and not any better than a $6 bagel that I can get at blue sky bagels!

12$ for a mid bagel with light toppings is crazy. Gentrifying bread is something I’ve never heard of. Go somewhere else and get a bagel sandwich plus a speciality coffee for way less (which includes a generous tip.) Service was great but the owners are obviously catering to the wealthy tenants in the building above.

No complaints coming from me! This place is a gem. The bagel was great. The cold coffee was delicious. The person with the long dark hair was super helpful. If I lived in Boise I'd be here all the time
Open one in Olympia Washington!

As I've never eaten here before & was looking forward to a hot pastrami sandwich today. Only problem being, Goldstein's is completely out of pastrami, at 12:45
