This has been one of my favorite places in town for years and years. But just like most everything these days the quality is down while the price goes up.Don't get me wrong the food is really good it's just not what it used to be.
Misleading menu for their “budget combo“ it states 5.04 +$1.10 if you want curly fries ?….I ordered that and it indeed up being $12 without a drink ?

Too expensive for barely anything to eat. Skip over this place and go to Cafe Rio. You'll pay less, have healthier food & actually have good portion sizes. The portions at Hawkins Pac Out are so small you'll need to spend $25+ just to eat a good sized meal. Not happy.

All you need to know is that these guys have the best fries in all of Boise, and that's saying something. They're not thin and greasy, and they're not thick and dry. They're a perfect in-between. Extra fry sauce is about a half dollar extra, though.
Amazing Food, Incredible People and Convenient to Bogus Basin! Stop by for the Green Burrito (Spinach, Egg... and add a little guacamole!). It is amazingly delicious!!! The people are over the top friendly and happy, which makes for a great combination. Highly recommended! You will not be disappointed!!!

The food is always good here. Whether as part of a motorcycle ride-stop for lunch or hitting here for food after a day on the slopes or before heading up the mountain for night skiing, Hawkins Pac-Out always hits the spot.

Very happy to stumble upon this local gem. Fantastic service and we asked for our burgers to be mustard fried which was off menu and they were happy to oblige. Really good burgers and fries. One of the top ten in Boise!
