Mountain Timber Coffee is a local coffee shop with a smaller, more intimate setting that looks like a log cabin. The atmosphere is quiet, with a rustic but modern interior featuring Moose horns, comfy chairs, and outdoor seating with a nice awning. The staff are kind, welcoming, and go above and beyond to chat. They understand the importance of a 5 shot white mocha first thing in the morning and are beyond reasonable for price. The coffee is delicious, with a cortado that was fantastic and the best mochas in Boise. Seasonal drinks like a raspberry mocha and a blueberry, blackberry and white mocha were loved, and the staff adjusted sweetness perfectly. The Lucky Moose, a vanilla, caramel and Irish cream breve, was tasty and creamy with noticeable flavors. Food options include good burritos, banana bread, and a great Bacon Breakfast Burrito. The coffee shop has a fun Valentines menu and a great variety of sugar free syrups. Customers wish for another location in Eagle or Boise with an easier drive through. This place is perfect for a nice relaxing morning.
