The Mac and cheese is very good, amazing in fact, but only if you can even get it. Regardless of their posted hours, they seem to close as they please and they haven't been open a single time that I've tried to show up over the past year. Even right now as I sit in the parking lot, the sign says open, the hours are 11-2 and here at 12:11 the doors are locked and not a single person is inside. They might as well be permanently closed. Very sad that whoever runs the store has let it fall in such a way.

this was one of my fav food places at the spectrum prices went from 6.50-12.50 post covid but I was still paying for over priced mac today is the last time the mac tastes off and its a cheap 1$ packaged hot dog in it not the usual type they use

Everytime I have tried to give them a try, they are always closed or something else. I guess they closed down for covid as well and I would like to give them a chance before I leave this town, but how it is going so far might not be anytime soon before I leave. I have seen how small their cups are and for how much they charge it doesn't seem worth that much, but I will let my taste buds do the talking when they decide to open again.

i went to the mad mac food truck during a concert and not only were the people super sweet, but the mac and cheese was sooo good! i got the buffalo chicken one, and we ate the entire thing! it was $ 12.50 and super big! my friend and i had to split it!! will definitely go here again!!

Don't know how it tastes personally because I never made it past the price on their food truck. $10.50 for a cup of mac and cheese topped with various toppings was to much for me but I understand they have to make $$$ so hade to raise the cost and pass it along. Fellow co-workers seemed to like it but I'm all about getting a bit more than that for my dollars spent.

Absolutely LOVE this place!! I eat here every time I visit Boise and it's delicious. The owner is SO sweet and personable. I think the food is delicious and my favorite is the Skully Pulled Pork!! I'll always support this place and will keep coming back.

The only reason this doesn’t have 1 star is because the food genuinely is delicious. However, the prices are way too high for what you get ($10-12, plus $4 for gluten free noodles… ridiculous!), they charge for water cups, the restaurant itself is sporadically closed, they do not answer their phone, and the staff was short and rude with us.Again, delicious food but not worth coming here again.

We had a food truck cancel on us last minute (9pm the night before) for our large charity event. We reached out to Mad Mac the day of and, like any great Idaho business, they came through in a big way. Thank you, Mad Mac! Looking forward to trying your food tonight and I will update my review to let everyone know more about your gourmet macaroni.

Very bland, kids didn't even really care for it. Customer service definitely is not a priority. Not friendly and kinda overpriced.

So, just went and had Mad Mac with my husband. I got the pulled pork and he got the cheeseburger. They were both alright; my husband's bowl had a thick layer of hamburger grease at the bottom, which was kinda surprising to see. Mine was alright, it's nothing to write home about. Would I recommend it? Yeah, maybe. It's a pretty solid middle of the road joint. I've had worse, and I've had better.
