Been here many times normally a good experience. On this particular day the wait time for food after ordering was much longer than normal. What happened to the service? Maybe new staff? Also the server taking orders didn't know how to pour beer from the tap correctly. Got way too much foam.

The hardest part was finding my way to the upper floor where this location is located. After that, friendly service and the ribs, smoked wings, and baked beans were really tasty. The ribs were tender and not covered in sauce, just the rub as I like it. I did try a little of the Carolina and spicy sauce and liked them both.

My coworker and I love a baked potato, so we visited R&R on Wednesday since they have a baked potato special. Unfortunately we didn't get there until 1:00, and they were out of baked potatoes, but I wanted to highlight Patty's top-notch customer service. She honored R&R's emailed offer for a free dessert even though I hadn't gotten their app yet, and she was so kind to us in the wake of our disappointment about the potatoes. We'll be back for sure, much earlier next time.

They are liars. They lie about their wages online and then gaslight you when you interview and they say $11/hour + tips.
Fools, you said $16/hr online. You can't just assume it will come out to be $16/hr with tips as you don't know what the tips will be for any given shift.
I wouldn't eat here even if you paid me.... $16/hr with tips lol

Parking: Driving a 2500 HD Diesel makes it limited on parking in the city. But just around the corner from R&R BBQ is the perfect parking garage for such a pickup.

Nice place, pleasant service. Had the Three Meat Plate with Brisket, Sausage, and Ribs. With Slaw and Hushpuppys for sides. It all tasted pretty good. The Sausage was best. All of It could use more smoke, and the ribs needed more time on the smoker - the meat didn't pull away from the bone as it should. All that being said, I would go back again.

We lived in Texas for 10 months and were very disappointed in the barbecue there. We hesitantly came into R&R not knowing what to expect. The service was spectacular for an order at the counter operation. The food got to our table very fast and everything was delicious! My wife doesn't like really spicy food so having the sauces at the table instead of on the meat was perfect. She is also not a fan of smoked meat, so the subtle smoke flavor was just right. The portions were ridiculously huge! We will be back often. Quick tip, there is a parking garage in the same building that will allow you to park for 1 hour for free. That is plenty of time to eat your lunch and enjoy yourself.
If you're in downtown Boise you have to try this place!
The brisket was just okay. The sausage was good. Fries and Mac and cheese were good.
Expect to pay $30 a head for a full plate of food.

I can’t be entirely sure if these ribs are the best in Boise, but they are definitely in the running. I can, however, say that there is no possible way anyone has a better peach cobbler— that was amongst the best things I’ve ever eaten!
