We made a reservation this year for the Thanksgiving Buffet, after reading the food items that would be part of their menu. Unfortunately, the published buffet offerings were not what was available on Thursday, specifically the salmon for our non-meat eater. That was not the only item missing; there was no carving station-the ham and turkey were pre-, sliced and in warming pans(dried out and not really warm. One of the problems our guests complained of was that the foods in the main buffet were cold or barely warm. They would not have passed health inspection required temperatures. We wanted to have a delicious Thanksgiving dinner with all the good-sounding choices on their published menu; but it was not. We won't go there again.

The Thanksgiving buffet was terrible. What’s going on with this place? You have one short lineup of buffet offerings for holiday reservations? One potato option, one sweet potato, one ham, one dry turkey, lumpy and cold gravy. Two salad dressings, one being out for the entirety of our meal. You didn’t even serve rolls… on thanksgiving! It was like eating at an old Holiday Inn for Thanksgiving, or a truck stop buffet.

We about finished our food by the time we were waited on for drinks. Had to wait for fresh food to be set out, the food was dry initially. Didn't feel like a $140 dinner. Felt more like a $70 dollar dinner.

Our experience for Thanksgiving dinner 2025 was ok. We were seated in the main dinning room, which is bright and open, other tables/guests close by. The waitress was efficient and not overly friendly, barely gave us directions to closest buffet line. Presentation of the food was OK. However, there weren't placards stating the contents of the chafing tray ie turkey vs pork. The food wasn't overly warm, desserts good, it was very expensive, which included a 20% service fee. The best part was not having to cook or clean up. Not sure we will do a buffet at the Riverside again.

Really enjoyed the Thanksgiving buffet. All of the food was delicious. We were seated in the Sapphire Room. There were 2 gentleman playing guitar and singing that were really good. The music they played was perfect. The wait staff were very attentive. This was our first time there. Will be going back again.

This was a very nice setting- a very enjoyable afternoon! My only suggestion would be that the food be warmer in the Buffett line!

This is a hotel restaurant. I stopped by for the breakfast buffet and it was good. Just the basics. The server was attentive and did a great job considering how busy she was.

They advertise some foods in their buffet brunch but don't have them. Asked about the eggs Benedict and they said they hadn't had it in about a year even though their website still lists it. Nothing else was all that good except for the omelets. They were very good.

For a quick bite especially if you're staying at the hotel this is fine. But it is not a destination. I ordered Chicken Tortilla Soup and got Chili with Tortilla strips on top. The jackfruit jam on the burger overwhelmed the flavor completely. On a positive side - their small plates are actually huge! Our party of three (all local) have crossed it off our future list - it's just so-so.

Buffet Belgium waffles are gone-been a staple for years. Plates are salad size, small. Those who ordered from the menu didn't receive their toast with their meals until 45 minutes after ordering; after having to get up to ask, including a water refill. I've never wrote a bad review of a restaurant, but I this one was warranted.

We arrived for our reservations and was told we were going to be a high top table near the bar. I had to request a different table because we had someone that is handicapped and could not get into a taller chair/stool. They took care of that quickly so I was happy. We were taken to our table that was added and we completely understand that with a holiday and getting large parties this was needed. Our table was way to close to the service area like only inches from the curtains that had up to his the space. Service to the table was really slow. Once we did order our drinks it took quite a while before we received them but they did come. We had to ask for more coffee when there were others staff that could have grabbed the coffee pots and water pitchers and kept things going so that was a bit of a disappointment. The 4 at the table were able to go and do the buffet that wanted it but some of us just wanted off the menu items. The order was placed but took longer than expected for the food to arrive. Myself and another ordered the eggs Benedict things were only ok with them because the eggs were over cooked. Poached eggs should have a smooth runny yoke nothing like a hard boiled egg. Didn't want to say anything because we were hungry and didn't want to have to wait for something else to be prepared. We did have a letdown from the buffet as well. The online menu as well the one in the restaurant stated eggs Benedict was part of the buffet and was not. That is something that should have been changed or at least someone tell us about it. So all together we had a decent experience with this place and enjoyed the atmosphere a lot but was a bit of a let down for service and food. I can let some of that go when it comes to service because it is a holiday and things were hopping. But food quality is everything and that was the bigger disappointment to all of us.
