I've been coming here for decades for weekend brunch since a kid. Made reservations early on for a party of 8; arrived 15 minutes early to check in. Sat 15 minutes after reservation. The hostess was apologetic-we were fine waiting and chatting it up with family. Sat us at a dirty table that needed wiped down. Very disappointed with the waitress. She didn't care about her tables. She didn't check on us for 15 minutes, when she finally arrived with water and no menus. Half table ordered buffet, the other from menu-ordered 30 minutes after the others were eating. Buffet Belgium waffles are gone-been a staple for years. Plates are salad size, small. Those who ordered from the menu didn't receive their toast with their meals until 45 minutes after ordering; after having to get up to ask, including a water refill. I've never wrote a bad review of a restaurant, but I this one was warranted.

We arrived for our reservations and was told we were going to be a high top table near the bar. I had to request a different table because we had someone that is handicapped and could not get into a taller chair/stool. They took care of that quickly so I was happy. We were taken to our table that was added and we completely understand that with a holiday and getting large parties this was needed. Our table was way to close to the service area like only inches from the curtains that had up to his the space. Service to the table was really slow. Once we did order our drinks it took quite a while before we received them but they did come. We had to ask for more coffee when there were others staff that could have grabbed the coffee pots and water pitchers and kept things going so that was a bit of a disappointment. The 4 at the table were able to go and do the buffet that wanted it but some of us just wanted off the menu items. The order was placed but took longer than expected for the food to arrive. Myself and another ordered the eggs Benedict things were only ok with them because the eggs were over cooked. Poached eggs should have a smooth runny yoke nothing like a hard boiled egg. Didn't want to say anything because we were hungry and didn't want to have to wait for something else to be prepared. We did have a letdown from the buffet as well. The online menu as well the one in the restaurant stated eggs Benedict was part of the buffet and was not. That is something that should have been changed or at least someone tell us about it. So all together we had a decent experience with this place and enjoyed the atmosphere a lot but was a bit of a let down for service and food. I can let some of that go when it comes to service because it is a holiday and things were hopping. But food quality is everything and that was the bigger disappointment to all of us.

Food and service was great! I was unaware that this is a hotel buffet area before I made reservations.

Food was unique, delicious and average priced. The waitress interaction was just right. The atmosphere was pleasant with fresh flowers on the tables, beautiful lighting and live guitar music on the background

Expected way better, we were the only table in the place and the waiter seemed more interested in side work than us, they were out of my first choice so I went with French dip. It was lukewarm and didn't taste better than an Arby's sandwich.

I love the Riverside Grill Brunch! And there is always great music playing in the lobby while I enjoy my meal. The hotel is great too for staycation, music and meals!

Extremely disorganized. The staff continually brought food to the wrong table and was walking around trying to figure out where the food was supposed to go. We waited about 50 minutes for our food. The couples to both sides of us had sat down before us and received their meals well into our meal. Drinks took about 25 minutes. And our appetizer never arrived. We didn't receive our appetizer until after our entrees arrived

Ordered steak...came out over-the-top done. Brown all the way through. Asked for a redo, wait 45 minutes...then manager comes to tell us they don't have any more steak. Amateur hour for sure. Gordon Ramsey would be shaking his head.

Not worth the $30. Bacon was good, though.

Brunch Buffet on Sunday ends at 11am as it does every week. Everywhere else I have ever beens Brunch Buffet ends at 2pm. People go to Sunday Brunch after church, mine doesn’t even start until 10:45. Trip advisor mentions nothing about this. We even made a reservation for an empty restaurant and the staff didn’t mention it.

We had a great meal! My husband (who is chef) and I went for dinner after work. We’ve been here a couple times and it’s delicious, the prices are also extremely reasonable. Truly an underrated place to have dinner. Classic tendencies but with a creative approach. This will be our new favorite dinning out option.
