Hana Sushi is the best sushi restaurant I have been to in Boise. I have been to about a dozen restaurants in the $10-$50 per person range and they all pale in comparison to Hana. I would recommend Hana to anyone who is looking for good, authentic, fresh sushi served by friendly people. Try the Oshinko roll too for an interesting combo of flavors! 🥒

Absolutely loved this Japanese restaurant 🍣🔥. The sushi tasted incredibly fresh, presentation looked amazing, and every dish came out packed with flavor. The ramen and appetizers were just as good, and the portions were honestly bigger than expected. Staff stayed friendly and attentive the whole time without making the experience feel rushed. The atmosphere was calm, modern, and perfect for a date night or dinner with friends. Definitely one of the better Japanese restaurants I’ve tried recently and I’ll absolutely be coming back again.

I love this place I have been coming for years. The atmosphere is great and the owner is amazing. The size of the menu is also wonderful. I’ve never been disappointed coming here. It’s a great place for family or a date or just when you’re chillin alone. The prices are also something I appreciate. A good way to support local Boise!

This place used to be great as Sakana, it feels different now. I ordered a shrimp tempura bento box, the shrimp didn’t look right, I tried one and asked the waitress if it’s tempura, she said no it’s teriyaki. I said I’d ordered tempura. Another waitress muttered “she ordered teriyaki.” I checked with my friend, who heard me order tempura as I don’t care for teriyaki. Much later they brought me a tempura appetizer, and insisted on charging me for it because I’d eaten one shrimp. Does this mean they planned on serving that shrimp to someone else? That’s concerning to me. I’d gone to this location for many years, miss the smiling faces and good service they used to have. Having me pay for their mistake is the last money they will see from me, so sad.
