“I’ve enjoyed many sushi restaurants but this one is special- the dishes are truly unique and creative! More importantly, the staff made my recent visit feel like an experience, not just a meal. “Out of all the Sushi restaurants I've tried around town, Yoi Tomo is hands down the best! What separates them above the others has to be service. I was particularly impressed with my server Lundyn (Hope I'm spelling that right). As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for years I feel great service is not simply flawless execution, but also how you recover when mistakes do happen. I respected how fast she acted when realizing my roll came out with dairy still on it(I have an allergy), and not only took it back to have it remade, but offered complimentary edamame. Owning mistakes, whether they are the server's or cook's, is not a fun part of the job, but she handled it promptly and professionally.“

“Service was great. We immediately got greeted when we stepped in. Got to choose where we wanted to sit. Waitress was nice and quick. Didn't have to wait to place and order. Short wait for food too! The food was ok tho. Restaurant/atmosphere and location is great. Looks nice and clean. Flies were annoying but this season is what it is. Ramen was acceptable but the broth lacked depth. The protein that we ordered with it were also bland. The sushi was ok. I would like to try more different ones tho. Prices were very reasonable for quality and location. Would recommend and return to try other things.“

“I’ve been coming here for the past five or six years and I cannot get enough of it! The service is always so kind. I’ve never had a bad experience there and every time I’ve brought someone with me, and they end up really enjoying it. I love that no matter how busy it is, the staff is still extremely attentive and food comes out at a solid pace. It’s been really fun to see the restaurant expand and grow over time, the new decor is so fun.
The experience alone is incredible. The food is so good too! My boyfriend and I go there at least twice a month, so glad I got him hooked!
We love the Boise Roll, Spicy Miso Ramen with Chashu + I switch out the normal noodles for Udon! I seriously cannot say enough good things about Island Ramen!“
