The funky vegan nachos were the best! They had so much flavor and was beautiful display. The chips were amazing. I love the mushroom tacos! A five dollar margaritas were delicious. Maybe less size next time. But in my eyes, everything was five stars unfortunately I forgot my typical go box to eat for later which makes me sad because I was really looking forward to it.

So I Got The Bean Burrito With Lots Of Things Like Cheese, Steak, and pinto beans. Very good. Service Is Good But Lowstaffed. I Would Give It A 5 But If They More Workers. Don’t worry it was awesome.

Ok so the flavors were good on these tacos. I had the piggy, macho and the classic. All the meats were dry. I'll maybe give them the benefit of the doubt maybe that is their thing. Dry the meat out so it's not so messy. Seems as if the meats were all slow cooked and then either pan fried or baked to dry them out or get some crust on them. Unfortunately for me that dried them out too much. Love that they put cabbage or slaw on the bottom and top but if that is taking up 70 % of the taco to keep costs low (less meat) I found that off putting. I may try this again when I'm back in town. I hope I have a better experience.

I stopped going to Funky Taco awhile ago because their prices were starting to get too high. However, a friend convinced me to go. I didn't realize it was under new management, but it has become a Portland restaurant... overpriced and underwhelming, all hype. Their tacos have shrunk in half, they can only be ordered a la carte and you are paying $8-9 for a street taco. There is still some good flavor in the food, but some were misses. The prawnto was boring. All of our tacos came out cold and the waitress was put out by having to serve us. She kept walking away while we were still trying to order food and drinks. Calle 75 is much better and still affordable.

We have eaten quite a few times. The tacos truly funky tacos. They have some of the most diverse ingredients for a small restaurant. The service was a bit strange but it was alright. Get your funk on at 801 w bannock

Came here lunch. Server was soo slow. Didn’t know what the special was. Didn’t know what beers were on tap. Disappeared for 30 mins to get menus. Then forgot waters. An hour later, still no chips, dips or drinks.

Came here tonight to grab a few drinks and apps before a show. The hostess literally pointed us to a bench, didn't give us any menus to look over, and the one waitress on staff that we could see didn't seem to know we were there. After being ignored for 10 to 15 minutes, we bounced. Don't see this place staying in business too long.

My wife and 2 of our friends are here during a conference in Boise. These were some of the finest tacos I have eaten! Note I come from a town with 50% Latino population so I know my tacos. My favorite was the blackened chicken taco it has a nice crunch to it without being dried out and a wonderful sauce. Pro tip you can go for happy hour and get 3 of their specialty tacos for $12 and a $5 marg. That is a solid deal IMHO.

Really unique tacos. I'm a bigger guy so it took four to fill me up. Their homemade hot sauces were great, the mango habanero is no joke when it comes to heat. The spicy margaritas were fantastic.

I had the Funky Nachos with carne asada. I loved the flavors. And the way it all mixed together. Definitely Funky, and GOOD.
