I don't usually write reviews. I grew up in California with a lot of good Mexican food; I mean it when I say the Habanero Steak Burrito I had here was the best steak burrito I've ever had in my entire life. I have been dreaming about it. The service and ambiance were fantastic, but the food across the board is what made me write this review. Everything we ordered was absolutely phenomenal. Highly recommend if you are a foodie. Do yourself a favor and order the steak burrito.

The food was great. The server Reece was very awkward and not mean but not friendly as you'd expect a server to be. He rolled his eyes when I changed what I wanted to eat and was not friendly. We are also in the service industry we get having long days but this is every single time. I've had him many times before and switched servers once because he made me uncomfortable. Smile. Act like you've seen pretty females before.

Food was ok, a little pricey for what it is. (if you’re looking for legitimate Mexican food this isn’t for you) The service was decent, our server was nice. The place is Kinda loud and it was hard to talk with my wife. Overall it wasn’t bad but wasn’t a wow either.
My order was asked to have a double side of rice with no beans. It came with beans and as I looked at it and cringed, the waitress told me to just “eat around it”. Normally I wouldn’t mind, mistakes happen. But there was no offer of fixing it, nor was an apology presented. She also really enjoys rolling her eyes when being asked valid questions about the menu. Thank you for the wonderful food though! I will be back, but Tillie should not be.

5th place I’ve tried in Idaho for Mexican food. Actually ended up being one of the worst places I’ve ever ate at. Should have stayed at la tapatia. The queso here triggered my gag reflex. Fajitas were overcooked and tasted like eating a burnt piece of flat top grill.

My 2nd time dining here was tonight. The food was so good last time I knew I had to go back.
The Smoky margarita was creative, fresh, and most importantly delicious. I had the grilled jalapenos, the habas shrimp, and the matador guacamole. The jalapenos were worth fighting over. I mean like come to blows with your friend if they take the last one fighting over. The shrimp was fiery and delicious. It was served with polenta, however I expected it to be more like grits than a cake. Even though I was looking for a grit style it was a pleasant surprise paired well with the shrimp. The guacamole selection was just okay, but no complaints. Alicia behind the bar was killing it as she be bopped around helping everybody! She isba great example of what service should look like. They seem to have many people like this because the last time I it was here I had the same experience!
