Delicious and original menu items. Friendly owner and staff. Great atmosphere with indoor/outdoor dining and even a walk-up window. The Funky Taco is setting the bar for downtown eateries. It's a destination.
The food was good. I personally felt that $9.00 for a single taco was a bit much. Two tacos would have been better for that price. Beer was okay...service was excellent and waitress was very good. The person who seated us was very kind. Atmosphere was okay. Outside seating is and was available. It was a warm day so we chose to sit inside. It was a tad noisy but not bad. Enjoyable experience
Only 5 vegan options on the menu, but the 3 we had were excellent.
The vegan nachos do not have any cheese or meat substitutes. It was so fresh tasting and packed with fun flavors. Perhaps the best ever (other than homemade).
Vegan tacos were also 5-star.
The spicy seasonal fruit plate was 4-star. It probably would have been a 5 if I wasn't already full from the nachos/tacos.
The drink menu is also great, including the NA selections.

The Funky Taco is a hidden gem serving creative, delicious, and high-quality food with unique ingredient combinations. The service is consistently kind, knowledgeable, and fantastic. The menu items are innovative and can create a craving in customers. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, with super comfy peacock blue booths inside and great decor. The tacos are some of the best, including the Piggy Stardust, The Classic, and the Idaho Potato Tots, which are all equally delicious. These are gourmet, unique tacos that have lots of flavor. Absolutely get the Creamed Street Corn. The service is amazing and top notch; Caleb is one of the best servers. It is a great experience with a great vibe and awesome food.
