Boys, the food is good but not that good. Stop rubbing sticks together to make your fire and recognize that half of your customers are women and volleyball is the most popular women’s sport in the state.

The Shed in Boise was a huge disappointment. The atmosphere was fine, but the experience was completely ruined by the bartender, who was shockingly unfriendly and rude. They acted like serving customers was a massive inconvenience. It’s rare to encounter such openly hostile service, and it cast a shadow over the establishment. There are plenty of great spots in Boise, so there’s no reason to waste time or money here. Save yourself the frustration—100% would not recommend The Shed to anyone. Definitely won’t be returning.

I can not stress enough, it is very unprofessional for staff to be sitting on the countertops behind the bar especially with their shoes making contact with food serving/drink/prep areas. Food was pretty good and service wasn't bad considering.

3rd time I’ve given this place a shot. I’m not sure what it is with the staff. Service is always terrible, not one person there cares about customer feedback, and not one kitchen or front of house person can run a normal ticket time unless the restaurant is empty. Normal college dive restaurant. This place could be exceptional, but the staff make it unbearable. I see so many negative reviews on here, I can see why. If you have a concern about your food, or maybe you were served their brunch gravy instead of clam chowder- they will gaslight you and act like they are never wrong. 3rd time is not a charm. I hope management clears out their shitty team members and brings in people that will actually give a shit about their customer base and can run a timely ticket. This place is only good for broke college kids at 1am that have no concept of time or care for hospitality.

Would give more stars for service, but just can't - our table server was great, but had a run in with an unidentified staff person (I assume he was staff!). He came over to where I was, literally, watching a football game (looking at the tv!), clearly wearing my team's apparel (who were playing on said tv), with under two minutes left in a tie game and he changed the channel!! No warning, no explanation, nothing! I had been there for the entire game and bought food and drinks. So, yeah, I believed I was entitled to watch the last bit of my team's game. Not knowing who the person was (could have been a rude customer for all I knew!), I hopped up and changed the channel back. The guy came back to my table and asked if I had changed the channel. I said yes I was watching the game. I explained that from where I was sitting, it was the only TV I could see, and there were only a couple of minutes left, besides there were 15 other TVs in the room. He then 'informed' me that I couldn't hear it, so who cares! I said I was fine with that because it had already been like that for three hours! He then said that I needed to just let him manage "his" tvs and leave them alone. He used "(my team's name) fan" as a derogatory insult and stomped off. RUDE!

Rudest service we have ever had. We went in for lunch and the place was only half full, the bartender/waiter said it was going to be about 20 minutes, we said great because we were waiting on someone else to arrive. We then went up to the bar to order drinks trying to help out the waiter/bartender, he then proceeds to tell us that he couldn’t take a drink order for 20 minutes. Fine, but the head shaking and rudeness was not needed. We returned to our table, grabbed our stuff and went to Madre for some great food and service. I will never step foot in the Shed again.

Good food! Had a nice time visiting friends up in Boise and stopped here on a Sunday afternoon. Had football games up on the tvs and were loud enough to hear but not too loud to get blasted out and unable to talked to people. Enjoyed the environment. Tried to eat outside on back patio but the flies were a bit much so luckily a table opened up inside. Everyone was friendly and place was pretty clean. Would definitely go there again.

Was alright, service was good. Finger steaks were not tender by any means. Lots of breading. The shed burger was decent definitely could have been cooked a bit longer. Tvs were super loud.
