Great lunch on a cold Winter day. The pizza crust comes from a Sourdough starter. Grilled cheese and tomato basil soup was delicious

Culinary gem! The food is always amazing with unique choices and plenty of vegetarian options. The staff are among the best in the valley and it is worth the weight.

It was our first time to the Wylder last weekend and we had a lovely time. I ordered the French Picnic sandwich and it was delicious. We also had the broccolini (which I am typically not a fan of), but paired with their hummus it was also delish! I would recommend coming here. The only tricky thing could be the parking situation (which is typically with many Boise restaurants).

Great pizza and salads. The crust is delicious and toppings are high quality. No reservations so in busy times you have to wait for a table.

This was our 2nd time dining at the Wylder. The first time was awesome. We used a $100 giftcard for partial payment ($50)...... important info for later. I'm going to start off and say this place is awesome! Service is spot on, food is great (especially the mushroom toast) and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Today we ordered a mushroom toast (amazing) and a couple of pizzas. The pizzas came out quickly and were very good. Their kitchen staff accidentally put balsamic vinger on 2 slices of one pizza. They remedied this with a free dessert, which was delicious. Here comes the issue.... we went to pay with the rest of our gift card from the previous visit. There should have had $50 left. Our server (we sat in the bar area) told us that there wasn't a balance left on the card. We stated that the balance was written on the card ($50) from the previous server. Unfortunately, nothing could really be done at the time.
Short story long..... as a precautionary tale...... check your gift cards after they are ran to ensure that it was properly done.

On a work trip to Boise and we were told about this hidden gem! Great quality food and tasty drinks. All the food pics are half eaten - bc the food was that good!!
I ordered the Italian meatballs and the cauliflower with chickpeas for my appetizers. The meatballs came with fresh sourdough bread and a great marinara sauce for dipping. I ate every last bite of both appetizers. Then I ordered a pizza to go. 1/2 honey badger and the other 1/2 was a seasonal selection. Again, the pizza did not disappoint. I took it for lunch the next day. Great service and a lovely atmosphere. The wait was two hours when we arrived and they did not take reservations. We opted to sit in the bar to experience Wylder! Definitely would recommend if you so happen to be in Boise, Idaho!

Highly recommend! Joseph was our waiter and really elevated the dining experience. Was able to provide recommendation unique to each of us in our party for drinks, appetizers, pizza, and dessert. All around great experience.

Pizza’s delicious, as everyone says. Service though is not great. I was charged for an extra drink which I definitely know wasn’t ordered….I wasn’t drunk. I usually split the bill for work and personal expenses and the service person didn’t make it very simple, makes me wonder if that was to sneak that extra drink charge in…….?

We dined for dinner and had the kale caesar salad, mushroom toast, and hula school pizza. Everything was flavorful and service was prompt despite it being a busy Sunday night. Finished with the butterscotch budino, it was excellent! We'll be back again when we're in town!

Can't go wrong with the honey badger pizza. The brussel sprouts and the mushroom toast are both excellent appetizers.

Waitress was great. Very friendly and attentive. We got a crispy pepperoni, a honey badger, pear and bronco. In order I rank them bronco, pear, pep, then honey badger. honey badger just wasn’t really my thing - other people love it tho. The sourdough crust is nice but I have had better pizza.

I really only like Neapolitan pizza, and I have never been a fan of NY or Chicago-style pizza. So, if you only like one type of pizza, your options are limited in Boise. The Wylder's pizza is tasty, and I have been coming here for years. That is not the issue. The reason why I loathe coming here anymore is because: they refuse to take reservations, it is always packed, I have waited an hour plus for a pizza multiple times, and even when they aren't busy (which is rare) the service is so slow. I really used to adore the Wylder, but they just have not adjusted well to the influx of people. It has basically become this exclusive place to eat.... and I'm over it.
