Visited from Saskatchewan, Canada and this place was such a gem to find. Pupusas were fantastic and clearly made with love. The interior is small but very welcoming and charming with all the photos on the walls. Elva was so lovely to meet and talk to. We hope to come back one day!
Jay and Elva have an amazing place tucked into downtown Bonners Ferry. Elva makes the most humble vegetables (like potatoes) into Michelin level plates. Just try her potato pancake! The pork, cheese and jalapeno pupusa with their homemade salsa and slaw was delicious and certainly filling. Jay is an attentive and friendly host. This place is a little gem in Bonners Ferry.
