I like the food in the restaurant and the convenience of the store. They stock and sell stuff a traveler may want to buy or eat. My favorite is their basic burger & fries with a side of two scrambled eggs added to the bun by the cook. They scramble them but in such a way that it stays on the burger bite after bite. Excellent breakfast and an even better waitress. She was so sweet and kind never had to ask for anything. I had the chicken fried steak and a half order of bisquits and gravy. Lord have mercy it was so good and homemade. Better than my grandmother's bisquits and that takes a lot for me to say. I will be back. Support our local restaurants. Especially this hidden gem.
