“This is a fantastic restaurant that’s quickly become one of our favorites in Coeur d’Alene! The staff are genuinely amazing, friendly, attentive, and they make you feel truly welcome from the moment you walk in. The service was impressively fast, even on the busy 4th of July when everywhere else was slammed. We never had to wait long, and everything came out hot and fresh. The value here is excellent, the portions are generous and the prices are more than fair for the quality you receive. We ordered the chicken katsu and it was outstanding, crispy, perfectly seasoned, and even better than we expected. Every bite was a delight. The pork gyozas were mouth watering some of the best in CDA. We’re so happy this restaurant opened in Coeur d’Alene. It’s a welcome addition to the local dining scene and absolutely worth visiting (or revisiting). If you’re in the area, don’t hesitate, go try it! Highly recommended“

“This is the only place that we get fish n’chips at around here. So good. Fried or grilled are both delicious. The kids like the quesadilla & guacamole“

“Absolutely delicious! Friendly staff! Grandson was blown away by the mochi and the chef was nice enough to try to duplicate his favorite roll from another restaurant in my grandsons hometown. Will definitely be back!“

“We figured for the very reasonable price we'd give it a shot - if it was bad then we didn't dump a ton of money. We went right at opening @ 11am as we read this is best for freshest food. I was truly very impressed with the selection and most of the dishes were really good. Some were a little bland but with so much selection it really didn't matter - just grab a new plate and try something different. I don't eat fish or seafood so can't attest to the sushi or fish dishes but all the other things I tried were really good. This wasn't just 1 bar of typical Chinese food staples. This was like 6 full bars including a salad/fruit/jello/pudding bar, sushi bar, american food bar, dessert bar and 2 fully loaded Chinese food bars. The selection was amazing. They had ice cream available which my kids loved. Our waitress was absolutely amazing, very kind and kept on top of our drinks and clearing our table. Family of 4 for lunch came to $50 without tip including drinks. You can't even get fast food for that these days. We will return.“

“I attended an event at The Boathouse where Isaac showed us how to make different kinds of sushi. He was very knowledgeable and made the experience fun while teaching our group. We had a great time--highly recommend!“

“Came on a Thursday evening. They’re only open for lunch and dinner M-F, so keep that in mind. I’ve been looking for a good sushi place since moving to the area, and I’d say Little Kyoto takes #1 in distance and quality. We ordered the Butterfly (left) and Hawaiian (right) rolls, and they were both delicious. The butterfly has a good mix of different fish, good flavor, and a mild radish-wasabi flavor. The Hawaiian was a sweeter roll but not overpowering. Mix it with soy sauce, and it’s a good balance. Service was good and fish wasn’t fishy. I will be returning (in fact, I want it for dinner again tonight).“

“We ate lunch here for the second time yesterday. I had the jalapeno Calamari, my wife had the Teriyaki chicken. They were both outstanding. We are anxious to go back.“
