“The food here is Excellent. Yep, capital "E." I'm particularly fond of the Chorizo Super burrito; it may be the best chorizo in CDA/Hayden. The chorizo is richly spiced without being greasy. And the salsa's are super fresh and tasty! Really, every element is amazing: the beans, the guac, how tightly wrapped the burritos are... these friendly folks and their food are simply the best.”

“This was our first time to eat at Izzy’s. It was my birthday and they made me feel so special. They even wrote on a chalkboard wishing me a happy birthday. They make you feel like family here. They went above and beyond to meet our needs and it will now be our go to spot for brunch every weekend!”

“Visited Bardenay while celebrating my birthday and based on a friends recommendation decided to try this restaurant. Very nice location (from out of town so perfect spot) menu selection extensive and of course the drink selection was amazing! Our server Sydney, so great, recommended the fish tacos. Being from San Diego, I was not sure if I should go with them, but based on Sydney’s glowing review ordered them. Ended up being some of the best fish tacos I have ever eaten. After dinner walked the small lake, so nice. Had a great dinner and will be back the next time my travels bring me back to this area!”

“I always order the Eggs Benedict with a side of fruit & it is always excellent. The fruit is fresh in the summer & includes berries, bananas, apples, peaches, pineapple- they allow me to ask for it w/o bananas & one gal even asked what other fruit I wanted more of! It comes with a side of cinnamon yoghurt for dipping. My friend orders the Aspiring Omelet- a huge helping of spinach & cheese topped with salsa & sourcream that comes with a side & bread of choice. They are the only restaurant I know that serves real (not a teabag) Market Spice Tea. For $3.95, you get a huge mug & as many refills as you can drink. I always take my last one to go & most of the servers offer to top it off, so I get 16oz of yummy tea goodness in addition to what I've slurped while eating. Our meal was $40 before tip. Service is friendly & efficient. The gal told us it would be a 30min wait during breakfast rush hour. It was more like ten or fifteen & we got a booth. I live in Spokane & happily drive over to CDA for this place.”

“We are passing by on our road trip, and we ordered a caramel latte and a haznut frappe at this Wake Up call drive-thru. Ember, our barista made the most amazing frappe!

“A friend recently gave me a container of Sierra Ranch Chili to try. I made chili for the first time and not from a can! Thanks to this seasoning, the process was incredibly easy. The container had all the ingredients listed for easy shopping, and even better, it had a scannable code that took me to a video tutorial that included tips. The chili was a hit with my family! I’m planning to make my next batch and this time I want to add beans. I also added cayenne pepper to give it some heat. If you’re looking for an easy way to make hearty homemade chili, this Sierra Ranch Chili is it!”

“There is so much I love about Edgy Veggie! When I first heard there was going to be a salad food truck in town and that I could drive through and get a salad, that was exciting in and of itself. Then there are the salads and bowls and soups themselves - absolutely delicious with fun combinations I would never think of on my own, generous portions, fresh ingredients, and consistency that gives me confidence that it will always be exactly what I wanted. Maybe the most impressive part though is the staff. You can tell that they all take pride in the food, they are so friendly, and the customer service is next level. I can’t think of any other place I frequent where they actually know my name. I recently had a mixup with DoorDash, which led to a salad sitting in the hot sun for an hour and a half, and the wonderful folks at Edgy Veggie went out of their way to make it right, even though it wasn’t their error. I love this place so much and if you go, you’ll see why!”

“We were visiting Coeur d’Alene when our host took us to Vine and Olive for dinner. It was a gorgeous night so we sat on the patio. The wine selection was very nice. We selected a Rose that was delicious. We ordered the Caesar salad and it was perfectly dressed, fresh, crispy and very tasty with crumbled croutons on top. It was one of the best Caesars I’ve ever had. We shared the fried squash appetizer and steak and frites. Both were so good. The steak was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and tender, fries were fresh cut and the squash and dipping sauce were so good. We shared the S’Mores dessert. It was so creative and really tasty. My favorite part was the toasted marshmallow. The owner was very sweet and we received great service. I would highly recommend dining here.”
