Applebee's Grill + Bar

Typical Applebee's experience, nothing amazing or horrible. Service was good. Food arrived quickly. I do not like the table top check thing, Never have.

It doesn't surprise me that Applebee's has been struggling for business for quite some time now. When a business is struggling they have a chance to still provide superior service, offer deals to bring in more traffic, add new food to the menu to get people to want to come back again. Over the last month I have tried both their $9.99 deals. The bacon burger and fries, and then their chicken sandwich and fries today. Both did come with a large drink which is the highlight of these meals in my opinion. There's no consistency to the seasoning that is used, anywhere. I'd say flavor shouldn't boil down to house seasoning saltiness but it does. The flavor, overall consistency, as well as what should be friendly attentive service whether dine-in or to-go and presentation is all mediocre at best or just doesn't exist. Both the fries and the sandwiches are okay, nothing that makes me want to come back again though. Not even for $9.99. Today on my chicken sandwich meal I received one half of one slice of mushy tomato, yes a HALF of a single slice of mushy tomato! A burnt bun and not nearly as many fries that came with the burger order nor as fresh as they were before. There was barely any mayonnaise and you could see it was squirted out from a container, instead of spread onto the bun. I was not going to give Applebee's another chance after the burger to be honest. Todays 2nd chance solidified that for me with the chicken sandwich. I will say the chicken fillet itself was large, had it been a great sandwich it would of brought me back. But lack of mayo, no flavor and half of a mushy slice of tomato was enough for me to say, not again. The service provided was not even friendly, and less than attentive as is the kitchen staff noteably. I understand it's hard to find good workers and yes people have off days. But when it's consistently mediocre and lackluster, it's likely past time to have discussions to even try to turn things around. It can't be miss-miss-hit. If the first two chances aren't a hit, there won't be a third.

Worst birthday meal I’ve ever had. We ordered Riblets for everyone and they were burnt to the bone. The service was great so I didn’t complain because i didn’t want to ruin the night out. Afterwards I wished I did..I found out the next day
wife and sister both got sick that night.

I had a wonderful waitress that took great care of us. The food came out looking and tasting amazing. I saw a manager that came and made sure we were doing good. She was very sweet. If you are looking for a great place to eat then Applebee's is definitely the place. I will be going back again! Thank you Applebee's!

My perfect margarita was amazing and so was the bartender. I even got a vist from the manager Melinda and she was very sweet and great to talk to. I will definitely be back.

Check your receipt!!!!! Went there 3 times and all three times they over you on drinks. They removed the extra charge when I confronted them, but it shouldn't be happening in the first place.
