“First-time visitor. Nice, 'hometown' atmosphere, where the focus seemed to be on the food and attentiveness to customers. Prices seemed to be a bit on the high side, but I knew that going in. It all made sense when my breakfast was served. Oh My Lord! The portions are huge! And that says a lot, given I am a 'big eater'! What I didn't like, was that there was no indication that the chili-topped eggs I ordered, had some kind of spiciness that was not in the description. This was confirmed by my waitress. All in all, a good place...but if there is a 'next time', I'll know not to eat for a full 24-hours before I go!“

“I was here about 5 years ago and the food is still pretty dang good. My favorite is eggs Benedict with extra sauce for the extra crispy hash browns. They did everything exactly the way I like it. This place is consistent. I highly recommend it.“

“Crispy hashbrowns and chicken fried steak, gravy just right and piping hot, fresh green onions a delicious touch. Fast. Friendly. What a way to start a cold Saturday of catchup work!! Huge portion, but I will eat the entire thing when it's this good! A+“

“The best breakfast experience! We ordered a lot of food because we wanted to try so many things and it was all delicious! I don’t normally like orange juice but the fresh squeezed orange juice here was out of this world delicious. The service was very friendly and fast but not rushed. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy atmosphere and comfort food.“

“Where the locals go for breakfast. ?Favorite breakfast spot for almost 40 years. I’ve been going here since I was a little girl, at the original location, it’s even where my grandpa taught me how to order eggs (over-medium). I’ve moved away from the area, but make sure to always stop in when back visiting family. My parents still go probably once a week at least. And my husband is now a convert too. It’s a solid, no-fancy-fusion, just good ol’ breakfast classics restaurant with an atmosphere you can only get in North Idaho. Tons of breakfast meat options, want a delicious smoked sausage with your eggs….no problem.Must try at least once, the cinnamon roll. As big as your head and an absolute treat. My favorite: the lightweight with home fries and biscuit and gravy. Their omelettes are also solid. They’ll also switch your sides out for cottage cheese and tomato for the low-to-no-carb days.Everyone is very nice, servers are friendly and efficient. Woody, one of the owners, is always very friendly and welcoming and somehow still looks like I remember him from when I was a kid. I’m not saying there’s an anti-aging ingredient in the gravy, but that would explain it. ? Also, my husband is a black Middle Eastern man and I’m a plus size woman and we’ve both always felt very comfortable and welcomed here.I hope you get a chance to experience this place at least once, and love it as much as me and my fam do.“
